The lamp does what it is designed to do - work as a lamp, but it has a few limitations- If power is removed it does not remember its current state, so you can not use any form of timer or automation to control it.- In a bedroom environment it has a issue as there is a bright blue led that comes on when the lamp is off - the logic I guess is to allow you to find the switch, but the led could be 1/100 of the power and you would still have no problems finding the switch.- The whole thing is a single unit, so as and when the led light gives up you have to throw away the whole thing - not really the best option in a world where we are meant to be saving resources. It also means that the lamp does not real save you any money long term if you are replacing aCompact fluorescent lamp. What you may save on electricity is spent on having to replace the whole thing in the future.

Great lamp for hobbying and reading the brightness is adjustable so you can have it at max for painting/drawing etc and a lower setting for reading at night.Great value for money with the amount of adjustment you get.I use it along with a light bar and get more than enough brightness for intricate working.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like this lamp because it is easy to place wherever it is needed for extra light.

Great light for fine figure painting

Very slim line and so quite descreat positioned above my desk monitor. Good colour temperature. All in all quite pleased with it.
