Well I thought that this device would make it easy peasy to tie together my leader and main line together for my fishing rigs. I sat down for about 3 hours really trying to follow the instructions the best that I can and I couldn't ever get it to tie the knot properly. Perhaps it may have been the quality of the fishing line that I was using with it who knows? Realistically though, who has the time to fiddle with a little device like this to help you tie a knot while out fishing on the lake? I would just loose my patience and just tie my own version of the knot. Overall the quality of the product is very good but ease of use probably not. I guess if you can master the use of this device it would be useful. I don't see myself fiddling with a device like this for 20-30 minutes just to tie one knot. Sorry but this product just wasn't for me. Maybe I will give it another shot the next time I go fishing,

This is a great handy little device. No more need to hold braided line in your teeth unable to talk why tying the knot. Or standing on your rod for mention possibly damaging your fishing rod. If your on a boat and need to put on a new leader this is really going to help you out. This will save your hands, teeth and your sanity why you use it to add leader to your line. It may even reduce the number of rods that you carry because it makes it easier to replace broken leader while fishing.It's large enough to work with and small enough to store easily. and comes with great instructions if you have never tyed and FG knot before. It's a complete package. The only thing I would add to this is a waterproof carrying pouch to keep it all together. But I'm sure you can find a place in your tackle bag for it.
