Makes the art of strength and conditioning easy to understand
Back in 2012 I had the pleasure of being trained by Nick in Smart Fitness (Gosforth Park) to aid my amateur development in triathlon long course.I learned so much from Nick but after a long gap in training due to career and family I decided recently to get back into training so I hoped on Amazon and bought his highly rated book! The book gives a great insight to the thought behind Nicks programs and gave me a deeper understanding of why I'm training the way I am.It truly feels like I have Nick with me in the gym which gives my workouts a great confidence boost knowing I'm training efficiently!Go buy it if you truly want to get purpose out of training!Ps leave your ego in the locker

Exceeded my expectations!
I began following Nick Grantham due to his vast amount of experience within Strength and Conditioning. The initial 'You're Hired' book is a unique insight into strength and conditioning for coaches wanting to pursue a career in this field. So when I heard about The Strength and Conditioning Bible I was on Amazon straight away to pre-order this.Yet again Nick Grantham did not disappoint! His ability to dissect complex aspects of training and break them down into easy to digest, simple methods for purposeful execution is invaluable. This book helps you understand why it is you train, aids in generating goals and helps you create your own purposeful program with achievable results! This leads to a more enjoyable training session and thus increases the likelihood of adhering to it.This book is simple because it gives a clear breakdown of concepts of training, what helps you create a solid foundation, aspects of movement and recovery strategies. As well as, what can be very useful to many coaches; Program design. Nick's book is also packed full of exercises in his reference section with many options for regressions and progressions to suit each individual. It is even compact enough to simply add into your gym bag!The strength and conditioning bible is great for the average Joe's and coaches on the field because it is a simple and effective in translating specific training methods of how to train like an athlete. This knowledge from a person who has worked for over 20 years high-performance sports is like gold dust and well worth it!
