Practical and Good Looking
These little sticky traps are worth the purchase if you're struggling with all sorts of flying critters in your houseplants. They're really simple to use, just peel off the guard paper and then place near your plants. They are designed to be stuck into the soil, but you could certainly use a hole punch on them to hang them by a string if need be. They are plenty sticky and do work well in catching flying insects like fungus gnats, fruit flies, flying ants, etc. Please note that I would not suggest using these outside, as they have the chance of trapping beneficial insects like bees and wasps or even birds if they are small enough. The little shovel included in this purchase is supposed to help make a small hole for posting the trap in the soil, and to that end it works. I have found that it works well as a sugar scoop for the coffee/tea tray too!In my experience, a single trap lasted around three weeks before I felt it needed to be replaced because they were full of insects, and even then they were still very sticky. Your experience may vary depending on how intense your insect population is. One of the primary positives, to me, is that they don't use pesticides but rather simply physical action to help control the insect population. If there is a drawback to these it is two-fold: as they trap insects they do look less aesthetically pleasing, and they are not biodegradable because they are a plastic based item. In the future, I may consider pursuing a biodegradable option, if there is one, as that is important to me.

Really work
They are a cute design, it makes them more appealing rather than an eye sore. As the picture shows, the product does the job as described. I am happy with the purchase. No more gnats flying around my office. Easy to use, the easy to dispose of and plenty of backups to replace. Great value for the amount of stickies.

it works!
very easy to use. I used them in my trash can, by the kitchen sink, etc. Just had to be creative in placing them. Liked that they were not stuck on my walls. Very effective!

Effective for Plant Pests: Practical and Easy-to-Use Sticky Traps
If you have many plants like I do, attracting gnats can be a real issue. These sticky traps are a lifesaver! I place one on each of my plant pots, and when they’re full, I simply pull them out of the soil and toss them in the trash. I’ve bought these multiple times because they’re incredibly practical for dealing with plant bugs and help keep my indoor garden pest-free.

Could be better
They definitely catch bugs, but the base isn’t long enough. They’re too close to the soil which gets all over the sticky part if it’s windy/rains, etc. Once the dirt gets on them, they’re useless. If they were on a stick or their base was at least 4” or longer they’d be amazing.

96 of these Glue Traps, What a Deal !
You can get a few of 36 or any number of these and they are all around the same price and you can get 96 of these and they are all the same price. So why not get more for less. I did and I couldn't be happier. I use these with my plants. I use Organic Soil, happier plants and happier tiny flies until they get stuck. I had a Fly invasion a few days ago, I have never seen so many flies in my back storage room. They must have come in through the window somewhere. There is no other place. They weren't the Bottle Fly, or Normal House Fly that I rarely see one or two a year. These were Cluster Flies. I did some research to determine what this particular fly was. True to it's name, they hung around together in masses. They were 4 times the size of a house fly and 3 times the size of a Horse Fly. They were loud, but were more of an annoyance. They wanted me out of the room, they were napping everywhere. I wanted them out of the room. So I opened up the window and started shewing them out of the window, I think with a broom. Sort of like a Baseball Player striking so that the Ball would fly over the fence. They didn't like it at all and started to dive bomb me with a warrior cry. I kept on shewing. Then I got an idea. The stickies and put three between the closet door and three on the window. On the crack of the closet door and crack of the center window. Within no time they were peppered on the Stickies. Plastered glue, and they were going on where. So how handy was that and they worked so well. These are a real blessing to have on hand. I hate looking at the bugs stuck to them, but they work really well. I can't complain and they are cut in a pretty pattern. So if you want lots of stickers, your in the right place. These are really cheap. I highly recommend these I can't find any better.

Works great for house and fruit flies
I got these as I was having a house fly and fruit fly issue. for the fruit flies, i made a cup of apple cider vinegar, dawn and water mix, but... they kept landing on the side and not going in. So I put one of these in the cup and now they land and get stuck! I have most of them out of the house now! I put some in plants, but mostly been putting them in the cups with that mixture. I had to change these out every 1-2 days. I put the cup over by the bananas I have on the counter and it worked great.
