Little Lulu

This is "Luluzinha" from my childhood in Brazil. I gave it to my granddaughter and she loves it. The first time she saw it she was fascinated! Now she's always asking her mother to put the DVD to play.

The media could not be loaded. I read the reviews first to make sure it was a DVD and not a VHS. Even though the reviews say things like "I was excited to find the old lulu cartoons on DVD, I still received a VHS tape and not a DVD. I was horribly disappointed. However, they are the vintage little lulu cartoons. I haven't tried the VHS as no one I know owns a VHS player, but I'm not going to send it back since I'm not sure if I will find a DVD version. I will just keep it and start looking for a VHS player instead.

These are really the Little Lulu cartoon shorts of the 1940s, But they are also fun to watch as well! one of my favorites on here was "A Bout With A Trout" where she plays hooky from school and accidentally gets knocked on her head and has a dream with the Bing Crosby song "Swing On A Star!" It's Hilarious!

Loved these whimsical cartoons from the 1940s and 1950s. Little Lulu was s a true scamp of a girl. I had them on VHS, but no longer have a player. I was horrified by the quality of this DVD. I think someone made it at home off of their VHS recording. SOO disappointing.

Despite the picture on the package, these are not cartoons from the HBO series. They are good cartoons, but if you have any of the old Lulu cartoons, you probably already have these: Chick and Double Chick; Bargain Counterattack; A Bout With a Trout; Loose in a Caboose; Bored of Education; A Scout with the Gout; Musical Lulu and The Dog Show Off.
