Switch perfect
Wonderful product. I put off many months fixing problem. Reviewed what could be problem with intermittent water pressure. Constantly bled line. Illuminated several reasons for problem. Didn't want to call plumber for a minor fix. Followed thru with many reasons for no water pressure. Finally trusted myself that I could replace water pump pressure switch. Got info for older switch. Watched how to install. Easy to install. Product for perfect. Had older switch seventeen and a half years. Ordered and received in seem like two days. Working great. Have water pressure. It could have cost me lots of money for a plumber. Sorry plumbers but those that can take the time to fix it yourself should try. Will order again along with other products they have. Directions are small and need to be clearer but you can pay attention how you remove old one. Make sure all.electric sit off and we'll pump. Could have purchased in store but cheaper from Amazon because had to be shipped to store from somewhere else. This was easier faster cheaper.

Needed adjustment, but works just fine.
This is the second one I've purchased. The original one on the system came with the well and had rusted out. When I installed the new one the calibration was perfect but unfortunately was physically damaged due to no fault of the device shortly after. When I finally got around to installing this second replacement it worked perfectly out of the box but unlike the first one needed to be adjusted to reach the 30-50 specification (all other pump and tank hardware was tested to make sure that this was the cause and not a false reading.) Even so, I find these trustworthy and would buy again.

Works good
Works good, price is reasonable. You can get these factory preset for different pressure levels, so check around to be sure you get the right one. This is what I consider to be Square D's middle of the road electric water pressure switch. I belive they make a cheaper one in plastic clamshell packaging, and they also make a heavy duty version that is not only rated for higher amperage, but the top seals much tighter, to keep bugs and spiders out. If you are just wanting a regular pressure switch, at a decent price, this is it. Comes in a cardboard box that sits nicely on the shelf. Identical to the unit I replaced it with that lasted well over 10 years.

Did the job and was a great price
Nothing puts fear into the heart of a homeowner on a well when you have no water! In our case we had intermittent interruptions when the switch would not activate, and tapping it made it work. BUT when the pump control gets stuck ON and your system begins to leak, well, you gotta fix it. This unit took literally 10 minutes to install, easily and keeping the water flowing on a regular basis!

difficult to adjust, works great once you find the right settings.
Used this for water booster pump supplying faucet and shower. I tried a number of inline pump control options, but the results were variable, and a headache to replace. I put this device off of a T coming off the pump. I'm very happy with the results, and though the pressure controls aren't intuitive, it does do what I want it to do! If I need to replace it in the future, it should be much easier to do. Finding the right fittings to connect to PVC required some creativity, though.

Way cheaper than HD, and with Prime it was here in less than two days!!!
Our pressure switch was on it's last leg as the contacts were terribly corroded and kept arching between contacts. I found this replace here for way cheaper than HD and with Prime it was here in less than two days.Installation was simple, just ensure you hit the breaker to cut off the power. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that before you remove any wires, you take a picture of the old switch as is. Undo the wires install the switch and redo the wires in reverse order. If you want a bit more pressure you can adjust the set screws (instructions included on how to do that)As for the switches, my home was build in 1987 and the switch looked to be the original. The old and new switches looked the same however you could tell the older switch was made a bit beefier and lookd a bit more higher quality. The new switch is working as good as the old one.(FYI...Since you are there removing the switch you're best off replacing the nipple and the pressure gauge while you're at it. Since those items can get sediment blockage over time if your well water is dirty)

You can adjust to 40-55psi
On my pump I like a larger pressure spread and higher avg pressure. Adjusted the A and B nuts to run at 40-55 psi, probably could go to 60 but 55 is fine

This failed in a few months
This switch failed after 3 months of use. One of the switch contacts fell off. I no longer have the box or info. Looks like the seller does not have anything to do with warranty.Sucks to be me.
