The Lamps of Tiffany Studios: Nature Illuminated

This is a small book. Sometimes, two lamps are squeezed onto one page and you can't see the detail. The wisteria lamp photos are not the best examples of the exquisite flower lamps Tiffany Studios made - they are drably colored and mostly white! The glorious lavender wisteria lamp in, "The Lamps of Louis Comfort Tiffany", is a much finer example. The photography is above average (when you can see the details). The book was printed in China and the cover is paper covered cardboard. This book isn't worth the money.

My book club chose to read Susan Vreeland's book "Clara and Mr. Tiffany" for our May meeting. The book focuses on Clara Driscoll who is now known to have designed numerous lamps for Tiffany and supervised the women's department at Tiffany Studios, which designed and crafted lamps, stain glass windows and mosaics. I just had to find a book that had pictures of the lamps and this book was outstanding at showing how artistic and beautiful they are. Took the book to my book club meeting, and everyone was thrilled to see what they looked like. They are stunning. Added so much to our appreciation of the work Clara and the Tiffany Girls, as they were known, produced. Highly recommend!

This is a great book if you are a stain glass lamp builder or just a lover of Tiffany lamps. The photos are top quality and the close ups give you insight into the types of glass and the quality of the soldering of the authentic lamps.

This book not only shows you the categories of lamps in all their amazing color, it correctly attempts to attribute the artists. Lewis Comfort Tiffany owned the company but the artists were women who at the time never got the credit for their abilities.

Very useful book that includes the ladies of Tiffany

I love any book about Tiffany Studios. Whether it be glass, lamps or bronze items, I love to read about them and drool over the pictures. With a lamp recently selling for $530,000.00 at Sotheby's New York, I don't think I will ever own one I really want. I will have to be happy with my reproductions. So sad.

Recent museum Tiffany exhibit in my hometown made this a must read.

ティファニースタジオのステンドグラスの写真集は、6冊程所有しておりますが、この写真集もサイズは小さいながら、カラー写真も豊富で、廉価版として、とても良い内容だと思います。ティファニーの好きな方に、おすすめします。価格が安いので、絶対に買いだと思います。
