Not only is this good for gardening work - it is great inside as well. Great for kneeling on tile floors when cleaning or working on plumbing under the sink. I wrap with a protective bag when I use outside. The density of the pad is remarkable - it is light in weight but very comfortable when using - I had seen this item recommended in Better Homes and Garden magazine and it is quite remarkably good.

This is a really nice, thick pad for gardening and many other uses. This garden kneeling pad is the one to buy! It is thick and large enough to sit on if you would prefer. I use it mainly for gardening, but I recently saw my dog's vet using one when kneeling on the floor. I am thinking of purchasing a second one to have on hand. It is easy to wash with soap and water.

First, let me say that I have had this kneeling pad for about 4 years. Others have written, and it is true, that this is a very firm pad. If you are wanting just a little cushioning, you will probably not like this pad. However, if you are someone who needs significant padding while kneeling, you may like this kneeling pad. It is thick enough that you will not feel rocks through it. And if you are a post-knee replacement person like me, this pad will give you plenty of cushioning. Overall, I really like this kneeling pad. My only negative is that when I am using it, the blue color of the pad comes off on my knees if I'm wearing shorts--or on my clothes if I have on pants. But I've never had the color stain any clothing. If you don't mind blue knees (or whatever color you purchase) while gardening and prefer a firm kneeling pad, this one will fit the bill.

I'm an old guy and have a hard time doing my kneeling exercises. This is great for my knees - it's not a spongy soft pad, but soft enough to make it easy on the knees. It's also very thick so I believe it will last. I weigh about 200lbs so I got the thick pad to ensure it would hold me - I believe it could take a lot more weight, maybe up to 300 lbs.

When I first felt the product, I thought it would be way too firm. However, after using it, I discovered it was extremely comfortable and made weeding much easier. It might be too firm for your butt, but not for your knees.
