Yet ANOTHER series by the great author Darren Shan/ Darren Dash that I'm hooked on! The anticipation at the end of this book, the eagerness and impatience in waiting for the release of the next in the series - hardly bearable! The first three volumes in this series were amazing and these volumes continue to thrill and have me on the edge of my seat!!The masterful author does not disappoint with this book - so many things revealed, so much more that you won't see coming!Seriously, if you've never read any Darren Shan/ Dash books, NOW is the time to start!Hooked on the Cirque du Freak saga age 8/9yo now (the wrong side of 25yo) these new books are just as gripping!Get your Shan on and start reading! Make sure you start at book one of Archibald Lox as this is further into the story - but when you get here you'll be thrilled! If I could give higher than 5* I would!

Brilliant book, with some excellent twists and turns. Unputdownable - I was reading this at work. For every age group!

I've decided to rate this book 3.5 stars. I was really close to rating it 4 stars but my biggest criticism was that there was too much Grop and not enough action.However, this book is kind of a mini book of 3, so I think if you read them in one go you'd probably find it more interesting.I very much enjoyed the ending. It was unexpected and took a dark turn for this series.I can't wait to find out what is going to happen to Archie in the final book.I do wonder though if there will be another Archibald series in the future.This book was still setting the plot of book 3 and I'm looking forward to see how things turn out.

I'm a big fan of every book he wrote and I believe he is the best in the genre of horror fantasy mixed with the deepest desires and fears.

It’s such a good continuation. I need the next one. Shan is a great writer, reading I’ll forget how young Archie is until he does something to indicate it, but overall the books are awesome and can’t Rec them enough
