Christian Tortu foret Candle

OK candle lovers.................here is a splurge for you. As you well know, I burn a lot of candles, and I love good fragrance. I first smelled Christian Tortu Forets in a room spray in a store that used to be on Madison Avenue in NYC..........Takashimaya...........R.I.P. I have rationed it sparingly as the store closed and I could never find the room spray again. Enter Amazon with it's Forets candle by Christian Tortu. It is green, verdant, and smells like you are in a forest...........a really good forest. This would make a fabulous hostess gift. You would definitely get invited back. But buy it for yourself too.

Honestly, this is the most amazing candle I have ever owned! I have tried over 218 candles and have run my own candle company for 4 years. This candle filled my entire home with fragrance in less than an hour, and the fragrance remained four days after the candle was blown out. Yes it is expensive...but as my Mother always said "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" I will never buy another CHEAP grocery store candle ever again!

Smells good but it isn’t very strong. WAY overpriced!

This candle is one of the best I’ve ever had. The fragrance is not too strong to dominate a room but strong enough to give the room a wonderful pine smell.

The two candles I received (one will be a gift) smell like a forest. The candle has a subtle aroma when I was anticipating something more richly scented (bold).

My candle obviously melted en route. It "reset" and was extremely uneven. Very disappointing!

Foret is an unforgettable scent: at the same time clean, spicy, masculine, and seductive. My favorite candle of all time.

This is one of the best smelling candles I have ever come across. The smell reminds me of Christmas. it can be an everyday, any occasion candle.
