Is the cushion a faux leather? All it says under product specifications is gray upholstered seat.

It’s faux leather but really nice looking. You can actually wipe them off with cleaning wipes and get them wet without staining. I love them. Super comfortable too

We have been trying to assemble these bar stools for a while tonight. The holes don't line up to put the short pieces in. Anyone else have this pro?

You need to make sure you have the legs in correctly first. There are 2 legs that go in diagonally then the other two legs go diagonally from each other. This will give you the wholes that match for the short and long cross pieces. If the legs are in the incorrect place then the wholes will not match up. Hope this helps. If you purchased the set of stools make sure you did not accidentally place two legs from the other stool. Hope this helps.
