This is a perfect kitchen scale for home use. It's easy to calibrate and use. Well made and doesn't take up much counter space.

I’ve purchased many scales in the past to help measure my dogs food. They are both Chihuahuas so, a little bit off makes a big difference on much they get fed. I had the biggest loser scale before and it worked great. , However, it finally died after I spilled something on it. I bought two other scales that were just absolutely wildly accurate. They would just change on their own. You would remeasure the same thing and get a different measurement of weight each time. Just awful. So finally, I decided to go back to the basics and get this one instead of some of the more fancier looking ones. This one is right on the money and is working perfectly for me so far! Finally, I am not feeling guilty feeling like I’m starving one of my Chihuahuas and overfeeding the other like I was constantly doing before. Now it is measuring accurately, and I am confident that my babies are getting fed the exact amount in grams that they need. Yes I’m a crazy dog mom. :). I have had this scale about 2 years and it has proved to be very versatile given the many different units of measure it has as well as excellent battery life. As an example I last used to add refrigerant to my auto AC and it worked great. It is a very hand scale to have around both shop and home. I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I had an OXO scale that I loved before purchasing this one, but it did not have the precision I needed for soap making and it maxed out at 5 pounds. This works well enough for soap making and baking. The rubber feet come off though, making the scale tip and the measurements inaccurate. Eventually the missing foot will turn up or I found some replacements. Do yourself a favor and put them on with E6000 glue from the start. The auto off time of 2 minutes is reasonable for my needs. Sometimes I run out of flour mid recipe and can still manage to get down to my storeroom and back with more before the scale times out. I sometimes exceed the 11# weight limit when I’m doing a multiple loaf bread recipe. A bit annoying, but not a deal breaker for the ~$13 I paid. I wouldn’t pay the current price for this unit though (over $20).After 6 years of frequent use, it wasn’t weighing accurately anymore. But my husband found that the top plate of the scale had gotten off center and was catching on the edge of the lower part of the scale. A little nudge put it back in line. It’s weighing accurately again. Yeah! So keep that in mind if your like me and store it on its edge in a drawer.

I have been looking for a scale to replace one I have had for many years! This is great! I love that it actually has click touch buttons and so far very accurate!

I am loving this scale so far. I’ve had it about 6 weeks now and use it daily. I keep a food journal so this makes it easy to measure my foods and know exactly what amount I’m eating.

The scale is very lightweight. It has a broad flat surface. If you need to weigh something in a container, like a bowl, just put the bowl on the scale and THEN turn the scale on - it automatically deducts the weight of the bowl. It has a large, easy-to-read electronic display, which, at the touch of a button, rotates between pounds, ounces, grams, and more. (No more converting recipes between European and U.S. measurements!) I have had kitchen scales before, but never one that was nearly as easy to use as this one. One caveat: I don't have another scale to compare it with, but I expect it is very accurate for household use.

After years of frustration with digital scales that always had flat batteries everytime I wanted to use them, I have finally found the perfect kitchen scales. Upon their arrival and unpacking them, like others have said, they seemed very flimsy and were certainly far lighter weight than I expected but I soon discovered their light weight was a bonus. I can pick them up in one hand, wipe them over with a damp cloth after use and straight back in the cupboard. The buttons are large and one click to tare them and I'm in business. Love these scales... and to think I struggled for years with my previous set which cost far more than these. PS: the extra large bowl I use for mixing sauerkraut sits nicely on the scale's platform and I can read the screen easily.
