This book has fun puzzles and games.

I'm kinda confuzzeld by this book. I can't understand anything I wants me to do, if I actually understood what I do to complete it I bet I'd be able to but it kinda confuses me. This isn't a problem with the book. I'm just kinda dumb. All I'm trying to say is my experience with it so far, I only got it today, so I might get it later or something. I'd still recommend it its still a good book if you know what your doing, and hopefully with some help ill be able to have fun with it and ill come back and do another review about my final feelings. I'm not saying its a bad book just because I don't understand what the questions ask me to figure out. And if like me you get the book and don't understand, don't feel bad,because when I first got it I felt horrible, I thought if I didn't even know what the book asked of me i didn't have a chance actually solving the answers,much less was I worthy of the mysterious Benedict society. But DON'T feel this way. So what if some of the books questions don't make sense to you. The mysterious Benedict society isn't all knowing stuff and being insanely overly smart! Just think of all of the members! Sticky might have gotten past cause he was smart enough to know the answers and reynie knew it was a puzzel. But think of Kate and Constance! Constance didn't answer anything! She just made up poems where the answers should go! And that proved herself!(somehow..)and Kate didn't answer anything correctly, but she proved herself in a different way! Not only by not cheating, and not only by helping Ronda get her pencil back! She helped number two on top of all that! Plus... You can always get your money back😋

I plan to give this to my daughter for Christmas (she loved all three MBS novels, & is looking forward to the upcoming "prequel") but I couldn't resist skimming through the book myself before hiding it. Bear in mind, this is not another story, but a collection of brain-teasers in the same vein as those solved by the young heroes of the Benedict books, and featuring the characters themselves, along with other scattered "biographical" snippets. It looks like fun; I believe that my daughter will enjoy the challenges as well as the tie-ins to one of her favorite series. Might even be enjoyable for readers who haven't read the books and inspire them to check out the stories, or just as a stand-alone, but I think it's most suitable as a companion book for someone familiar with the characters. Just don't expect any advancement of the ongoing Benedict saga. Recommended overall.

It was a little challenging, but disappointing to my daughter when there were no answers.

This is a puzzle book. 20% of the puzzle pages have been completed with a pen and some with a pencil. Not what I expected.

I first heard about the Mysterious Benedict Society on Diane Rehm's Back Seat Book Club. The conversation that day was really interesting, so I picked up the book and read it. And then I passed it on to my kids. My kids LOVE the adventures upon which the kids in the book embark. They see some of themselves in many of the characters. This book was purchased for my son for his Easter Basket, to complete his series. He has plowed through it, and is on the second read. SO FUN! Highly recommend the entire series.

I found the Mysterious Benedict Society book and bought it for my niece. Since I hadn't heard of it before I thought I should read it before giving it to her to make sure it was age appropriate. It was such a page turner I couldn't put it down. .. I actually read all three in the series myself!!These little mystery solvers are clever and daring and have great adventures together. These books are so well written and it's very 'G rated' and appropriate for young readers.My niece needed all the Mysterious Benedict Society books.

My child loved the TMBS series and wanted this book so much that they were willing to use their own savings to buy it. My child was very happy with the purchase!

We loved this book. My daughter and I worked through all of the puzzles. The puzzles tie in nicely with the books.

Having read all of the other books in the series, I bought this for my son a few months ago. The puzzles are a range of difficulty. The tips at the back help with some questions, tell you the answers for bothers and leave you with absoloutley no clue whatsoever for others. As well as puzzles, there are fact files and lots of other pieces of information tucked inside.Often the paragraph at the top of the page holds a clue in it as my daughter figured out very quickly.

An entertaining book, that I am sure my 12 year son will love when he gets it for Christmas. I am trying hard not to do it all in advance.
