Lovely candle making wax
I've never made a candle before so did some research beforehand. I came across this soy wax and decided to get a large bag. Glad I did as you need far more wax than you think you do once it's melted. I purchased the wicks and holder separately. My first two attempts were great successes and I can't wait to make more. It's so much more satisfying to refill your previously loved and used candle containers than to constantly buy more. Getting scents right is tricky and again you need more scent oil than you think you might if you want a strong scented candle. I melted this wax over a bamboree in an old unused saucepan and this worked perfectly. The wax has a lovely texture and colour when set. My candles looked amazing and expensive!! I made one as a gift and will definitely do that again. Loved it and was fun. Will buy again when I need to.
