I ordered this to take on vacation to minimize smoke and ash smell. It worked quite well. I originally thought it was quite light when I first got it, but that is truly a benefit. There is a snubbing post in the center of the cup part to extinguish your cigs then drop the butt to the bottom and replace the lid. No mess, no smell. It’s perfect and we take it where we know we can smoke outside but want to contain our butts! Like cookouts and such.

I loved it the minute I saw it. All the parts were in the box. no dents or scratches. closes perfectly. It's the cutest thing. The color it's like a dull bronze instead of rose gold and not so shiny as in the pictures. I cleaned it with a cloth I use to clean jewelry and got it to shine a bit more. I'm not posting a picture because it looks different in pictures. regardless, I might order another one. all in all I recommend it.

This ashtray is great for keeping ashes from flying all over my balcony. It's windproof and looks adorable sitting on my patio table.
