Under Armour Adult Igniter 2.0 Rectangular Sunglasses

Let me start by saying I owned a pair of Oakley flak jackets for years and loved them. Unfortunately a few weeks ago they broke. I thought I’d try something different this time and because most of my clothing is under armour brand I saw these and thought I’d give them a shot because they are cheaper than the oakleys.These arrived on time and I was excited to they them out. Immediately after taking them out of the box I was disappointed. These things are the cheapest looking and feeling glasses I’ve ever owned. If these were priced at $10 I would say that’s to expensive for what you’re getting. I bought a pair of sunglasses at gas station to use until these arrived. After wearing the under armours for about 30 minutes I took them off and put the $12 ones back on. Even the gas station glasses are better made than the under armour ones.So I just ended up ordering another pair of oakleys and I’m very happy with them.

These glasses were definitely thought out and geared towards athletes, or people that know the difference between cheap sunglasses and quality sunglasses. They fit very well on my nose and don't hug your head to much around the ears, and the sides of your head. I did make the mistake of ordering the hard case that was recommended below this item, as Amazon basically does with any product it seems like these days. The glasses arrived with the same case ? Overall I like these glasses a lot, and really do like how the feel overall on my head and face. I did go on a few long runs with them and they held up well. I have yet to see how these perform on a golf course, but I am positive that they will hold up. I do own numerous pairs of Wiley -X's, and must say that they are two different kinds of glasses overall. My Wiley's feel better as everyday sunglasses that work well on hikes, or just wearing in the car driving from point a to point b. I know that a lot of our Armed Forces members seem to rave about them, and I would definitely agree that the Wiley's seem like they could take a bit more of a beating than these Under Armours, but I am in no way saying these aren't a well made pair of glasses. These are 5 star glasses, however I didn't receive the same as what was shown in the photo. I ordered satin black which was shown in the photos with black under armor emblems, and is stamped as the Wounded Warrior Project model. I received a black pair but it is not the Wounded Warrior Project model and has silver emblems. Therefore I can't wear them for work and will likely be returning them.

Like a few other reviews I've seen on here from years past, I don't receive the correct pair of these sunglasses. I order the Satin Black / Gray Polarized pair (the ~$144 pair), but every time I just receive the shiny black / gun metal ($89.99 pair). I don't think they actually carry the all black pair of these sunglasses, so beware when buying.Outside of that issue, I've had the all black pair through Under Armour since about 2016 and they have taken a beating from wear and tear (nose piece fell off, sides by the ears chipping away, etc.), but they're a very good pair of sunglasses in my opinion and they're very comfortable and do a great job of blocking out the sun. This review would be 5 stars if Amazon actually delivered the correct pair that they advertise.

I knew as soon as I put them on, I ordered the wrong lenses, lol. However, that's my fault. My original lasted 5 hard years of hiking, ocean, pool swimming and outdoor activities. one drop too may and finally a scratch I could see when wearing. Lol, at that point, the rubber on the ear arms was deteriorating away.I do suggest getting the polarized version, world of difference, so I ordered new lenses.I use these for long distance cycling (centuries), driving and off-roading in my topless, doorless Wrangler. They give great wind protection, only a Wileys-style gasket could seal them better. Was heartbroken when they stopped selling them, glad they are here!

Received a bootleg pair of Under Armour Ignitor 2.0 Storm shades. "Storm" wasn't written on the upper left hand side of the lens, "Polarized" was etched on the bottom left of the left lens. The frame was a shiny material as opposed to a matte black. The sunglasses bag was even a fake. Corse cloth material with white stitching that wasn't even a straight stitch. I'm really fed up with people trying to get over and steal hard working peoples money. I'm going to report this to Amazon as well as the Government for selling knock offs.

To be clear, I Looove UnderArmor sunglasses. They are comfortable to wear, they fit snug to my head which is ideal for outdoor sports, and the lens are durable. What I don't like is the nose piece breaksdown to the point where the glasses are not wearable. As the nose piece breaks down due to wear, the glue intended holds the piece on the frame oozes on the lens. Then getting the glue off is difficult.I hate the thought of trying out different brands of sunglasses but I have no choice, UnderArmor does not offer replacement nose pieces for Ignitor sunglasses.

I search around for several months before buying these. I've now been wearing mine for about 2 years now. The one downside to these is the nose piece, because I do construction I wear regular sun safety glasses when I work while these sit in my truck on hot summer days witch melts the nose piece and creates a greasy gross mess after a few months. Under Armour was kind enough to send me several replacements, but of course over time they melted too... finally I removed the nose bracket all together letting the frame sit on my nose and that seems to work just fine. At first it was kind of irritating with out the nose bracket, but I got used to it. From what i can tell from scrolling through most of Under Armour’s glasses it looks like most of them have the same rubber nose pad so be warned they do melt in hot cars creating a greasy gross mess!

If they were genuine the frames and lenses were cheap. Or in my view after looking on line at the under armour website these were not genuine. It is very hard to know for certain.

love em, wear them daily (assuming it's sunny out). fits great. i like them better the the oakleys they replaced. maybe a smaller fit then the oakleys i used to wear.
