I was told that this series was a very good one & I absolutely agree. The characters are believable, intense & the scenery breathtaking. I don't stream or download so opted to buy the series instead. Packaging was ok, however, the dvds don't really attach themselves correctly and package pieces break easily. Poor design. Now, the show throws out tidbits of each character, not knowing where they are headed,(and the actors don't know either), towards good or evil. That is the basis for the interaction, but, the main story is to save a huge ranch from developers, Native Americans who want the land because it was theirs prior to the cattle ranching and some notorious evil people. The family, the Duttons Yellowstone Ranch, do whatever is necessary to hold onto the land. I will not say anymore but to caution you that there are some extremely violent encounters especially in season 2. All the actors are on top of their game. A special mention has to go out to Kelly Reilly who plays Beth, Kevin Costner's dysfunctional, angry, abrasive, tough daughter who no one wants to tangle with. Her acting is superb and should be recognized as one of the iconic characters created by Taylor Sheridan. Huge recommendation for this series which works like a movie!

I love the Yellowstone series. I think it is the best show I’ve ever seen.I like the extra disc included which features the actors thoughts.

If you haven’t seen this yet you are missing out on one of the greatest modern westerns to hit the TV. I love the characters and the locality they have for family and the land. Someone needs to bag it and spoon feed it to our kids. I’m in love with the whole thing.I have a ranch and know what it feels like to have gov. Try and take it away. The cowboys on the show act just like the real thing. Bless you for showing the world we aren’t dead.

A lot of interweaving story lines

This movie was definitely not for younger viewers - as a matter of fact, I'm 75 and I found it too graphic for my taste. It is a good movie with good actors, Kevin Costner of course being the best, however, the content of the movie, while the plot was great, I did not appreciate the way that the women in the movie came off. If this is truly the way women are in a "man's" world, then God help us. Women do not have to act like this in order to get ahead in this world, providing they can actually do the job. The female characters (most of them with only a few exceptions) came off as disgusting pigs. I truly hope that this is not the way women are headed.

I thought that one season 1 was available, so I was very happy to find this box set with the whole series included. I live in a small town and I would have had a hard to find this DVD set. It is a gift to my sister. Thanks for this. c

So I bought this for my grandma she lives out in the country it's a 2 and a half hour ride ride cost 180$ no cell service or internet well there's internet but satellite even then she pays by gig I should have checked them but they were brand new and all 3 seasons have 12 or something discs but she just tried to watch them today the 1st disc of course not working so far but she comes and shop the 15th hopefully I can exchange or refund to re buy

Excellent series, given we have to rely on Satellite Internet we aren’t able to stream movies. We still order DVD’s and we’re very pleased with the prompt delivery. Yellowstone is a sit on the edge of your seat series, addressing issues to today as well. Kevin Costner is stellar in this series.

I had already seen this series on Amazon Prime! But purchased for future viewing. Highly recommend this to purchase or to view on Amazon Prime. Best film series out there! You won't be disappointed ! Waiting on Season 4 now!
