RBS024 Brass Rain Barrel Spigot (LF Compliant 3/4" Quarter Turn Ball Valve w/Bulkhead Fitting and Thread Tape, 7 GPM)

I purchased this to attach to a 50 gallon drum, BEST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE. Easy to assemble, instructions were clear.I can control the flow of the water easily with the handle. This part saved me so much money since I don't have to purchase a rain barrel out of the store, I can build my own with this part. Have purchased 3 of these and will get more as I need to add more rain barrels on my property.

The media could not be loaded.  Item arrived next day and was exactly as described. The quality is well made and I love that it’s brass and not plastic like most rain barrel spigots. The install was easy to follow and works as it should. I ordered a second one for the next barrel and the connector kit to go with it.

I have 2 big blue drums I was using for rain and moisture catchment. TOO lazy for several years to connect or add a convenient way to get TO this free water, I used a pond pump. Pain in the @$$. Then I saw this set up from THIS company. Spigot AND barrel connector. I am a "not young woman" anymore but was able to connect both barrels, (also added crook neck attachments), spigot, plus overflow spout within about 4 hours. Holes drilled to putting back the rain water I had pumped out after checking for leaks. I am thrilled and wondering WHY O WHY did I wait so long. Pump is now retired. One crook neck has an off lever so lower connection can be disconnected and tanks emptied if needed. BUY THIS, BUT read the instructions, they are important.

Doing rain barrels and these allow you to easily and have a spigot that’s strong and not just screw-in But is male and female for the connections great products they haven’t gave any problems leaking.Thanks again.May God Bless Everyone.

This works great for my rain barrels. I like it more than my other spigots because this one has a longer handle and, also, has writing on the handle to clarify the on/off position. My other ones do not have that. I have had this for quite awhile and it has not leaked at all.

Because of the direction the nut screws onto the bulkhead, this is the Spigot to buy. It allows you to easily to install this on 50 gallon drums, with only access through the two top, holes. I was afraid you wouldn’t be able to tighten it up but you can, just from one side. As for dropping the male bulkhead piece in, wouldn’t recommend itRun it down a line.Thread a weight line in from the hole you cut, up to the opening at the top.You can do this by either inserting it from the top, tilt, rotate the barrel around to grab the string at the drilled hole, or flip the barrel upside down, insert the weighted line into the drilled hole , tilt rotate the barrel until it comes up the original round port hole.With the barrel in the upright position just thread on the male bulkhead piece onto the string at the top, let it drop down the line it will follow it all the way to drilled hole. Use your finger to pull the bulkhead through, hold it, remove the string,, and screw on the nut. This is a ball spigot, like you would use on a boat where it passes through the hull. You know without a doubt if it’s open or closed. After you screw on the spigot to the bulkhead, and tighten, you may have to loosen the bulkhead nut again, to align the spigot in a downward position.

I bought this to replace place a plastic one that I wasn't happy with -- THIS ONE is EXCELLENT.Really, REALLY well made. Love it. Buy it!Their Connector Hoses are excellent as well, and their regular hoses are phenomenal.

Used this to replace a busted up smaller outlet on a rain barrel. Toughest part was finding a 1 1/4 hole saw but it's important to use the right size and tool, after that, dead simple and works great.

Easy to install, and does the trick. Bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.
