These were easy to install and provide a TON of light (I was using them at 1-33%). The issue I had was with the app and google assistant integration. If these things are important to you, avoid at all costs.App issues: when you integrate with google, it won't work. You have to go online, search for an answer, and find a workaround whereby you uninstall the app and then integrate with google through the Google Home app. Then you can reinstall the app. The app is also confusing with its navigation and menus. It's hard to find things. The help docs are poorly written and the in-app support didn't respond to my request (it's been over 3 days).Voice control: You can set up devices & scenes and control them with your voice using google assistant. But only for one person in the household. The person who has the smart life account. You cannot log that account in on multiple devices or link that account to multiple members of your google home. It won't work, it breaks the voice control functionality for all but the last person to link it to google home. The manufacturer recommends you use the User functionality in the Smart Life app. I tried this, and unfortunately the other "users" in my Smart Life home are unable to use voice control. End result: Only one person can use voice control in a household.You can ONLY control the colors changing modes (rotating light schemes) with the app. You cannot control these things with the google home app.Update: After continuing to troubleshoot, and uninstalling the app and disconnecting the app from Google, I can no longer even get the lights to work at all with google. Neither via the app or voice. It just says "something went wrong" but both Google Home and the Smart Life app show the connection is active between both services. To control the device, I have to open the smart life app and tap on things with my fingers. End result, this product doesn't work with google home for me at all.Also: I have a Smart Life widget on my home screen (android) but it doesn't work. I get a cryptic error that it failed. So then I open the app to control the lights instead.End result: I spent a lot of time on troubleshooting this and my return window has closed. Now I have these installed and they can only be controlled via the app. I wanted to control them with my voice. Now I need to install a smart wall switch to get voice control, but it will only allow for on/off and not color changing. Or I need to buy new can lights that work with google home.Update: in-app support has not responded in 60 days. I finally caved and replaced the lights with some Sylvania dimmable LEDs and TP Link smart Wi-Fi switches. This combo allows me to control everything with my voice flawlessly or use a wall switch to dim without issues. I did have to give up the color changing capabilities that this product offered but that was just a cherry on top anyway.I uninstalled the app, through the lights in the garbage, and walked away out $60. AVOID!!

I got these to replace the standard white LED lights in my ceiling, did a lot of research and landed on these. So lets go over why. First off, I wanted something that was easy to install and essentially plug and play. So the first thing that led me to these was the wireless control through Smartlife app. If you dont know, smartlife is an app that a lot of manufacturers are using to control LED's. its nice because I dont have to download yet another app, its all coming in 1 place.Next up was the fact that these are not just RGB, they are RGBW. And here is why that makes a difference. The RGB lights will make white by blending their LED's. RGBW has a separate white set of LED's that gives you a true pure white color. This is also what lets you change the hue of the white and get that warm to cool true white. Huge bonus for these guys and doing that. Next is the easy of install, you literally plug in your wires, and go. There is a small hub that comes with it to plug into any USB anywhere in your house, and you can control them by it. I recommend closer to the lights, just so there arent any signal blockages. While it is wireless, you have to use common sense with the distance.The final thing I want to mention and a recommendation for the manufacturer is the wiring. it is UK standard, NOT USA standard. The only difference is the wire color which could confuse some people. So to make it simple, here is how it works.BLUE = NEUTRAL (Connect to white)BROWN = HOT (Connect to black)Thats all, ground goes the same.Overall, im really impressed with these and recommend them if you are looking to upgrade your lighting.

I purchased this item on April 2, 2022. I have encountered an issue with the lights, as only 3 out of the 8 lights are currently functioning properly. I have been extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of the BANWEY lights, which is why I am disappointed to experience this problem. I conducted several troubleshooting steps, including checking the connections and power supply, but unfortunately, I was unable to resolve the issue. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I would greatly appreciate it if you could arrange for the replacement of the defective lights as per the terms of the warranty or any applicable return policy. The media could not be loaded.  These smart lights are great so far. No noise, no flickering. These are extremely easy to install and look great!The junction box and wire clips make it super easy to daisy chain the wire. We replaced our current LED recessed lights with these lights.The color options are so fantastic as well as the white to bright light options. Light level is way more than I expected.Color changes are clean and good saturation.The lights Changing to the music beat is a cool feature too! Absolutely love these smart lights! Highly recommended.

I have one light out of 4 that doesn’t go as bright or as colorful. Its weak & dull. Otherwise, good.

These are perfect for any room in the house. They are controlled by an app on your phone and can be dimmed, brightened or can change colors. These are easy to install and easy to use. These are nice for a kids bedroom as they make a perfect night light. Great value for the money.

*Original Review* Light plugged in and sparked. Plugged it in to working light and killed box. Plugged light back in and that one sparked. Has lights that kill boxes. Beware.* That was a 4 pack. Banwey reached out to me and sent a new 8 pack to try, and I tested them all. They all worked great. I just got a bum light. Was my fault for not testing right away. They however reached out to me and rectified it, and I tell you what, the lights though are top notch and work wonderfully. I am quite pleased. Thank you!

My fiancé (not electrician) installed the lights, and said it was extremely easy. They have a literal spectrum of colors, timers, bluetooth, and the dozen or so other extras. We did have one light come broken. We contacted the seller, and received a response almost immediately. We explained the concern w light being broken. He offered to send the replacement for the broken light, and an additional one for our inconvenience. He asked if we could try to send the broken light back so he could inspect it in a attempt to prevent future issues like this. He didn’t insist on the return, was more a polite request. He sent the lights immediately, and waited forever to get his light with no complaints. Above and beyond, with an excellent product!

I put 12 recess lights but since installation, I am facing some other problems-a. one after another, bulbs are not working. In the last 6 months, 5/12 lights are not workingb. Frequently getting disconnected from App to manage color/brightnessc. Often gets into pairing nodeUpdate:- customer service contacted me and delivered replacement. Very happy with post sales support

I had a child very excited for these lights. I took forever to install, because the first 2 I was installing didn’t work. So we finally got 2 lights to work and connect. The next night, the lights turned on with Alexa and when we were testing to color change, 1 of the 2 stopped working. Now down to 1 light of the 4. These have a lot of potential, if they worked.Update: customer service reached out to me and sent me new lights to replace the 3 that weren’t working. My girls are loving to tell Alexa to turn the lights different colors. I’ll buy again if I need them for other rooms.

I bought two sets of these LED color recessed lights for my home office and master bedroom.These are installed just like any other canless recessed light. Setup of the lights was very easy. Once you put them into pairing mode, you can add them in the smart life app.I love the ability to customize the color temperature of these lights as well as pick from any color of your choosing.I wish the app allowed you to save different light profiles for when you set each light to a different color.I can also control the lights with my voice as they can be integrated with Google Home or Amazon AlexaI definitely recommend

We purchased these lights in May of 2022. All of them have since burned out. I contacted the seller a week ago and they have yet to respond regarding the 3 year warranty noted on the product page. I also tried contacting the manufacturer and they no longer have a website. The lights worked alright - had some minor connectivity issues with alexa, but they were bright and had a large range of colors.

One year later and my lights are still working great. They are so fun! Did have to replace one light under the warranty. It was a piece of cake. Couldn’t ask for more.

These lights were easy to install and are so much fun! Can change the whole mood of our house with a simple shout-out to our "Hey Google." Can go from bright lighting for cooking to movie theater lighting to club lighting!

These lights are awesome. They are super easy to install and they look great. The value for the money is fantastic. We have been able to set a soothing low light cool color when we are in bed and program them to suit all of our needs. I can’t say enough about them.On top of that, I had an installation issue (of my doing) and the company was super responsive and interested in making sure that the install was successful and that we were happy.
