Great and simple device for maintaining your pistols

The Real Avid Smart Bench Block is a must have for any armorer or firearm enthusiast. It's built with non marring materials, stays firmly in place thanks to the non slip base, and supports a variety of platforms like Glock, 1911, and others. I’ve used it multiple times already for disassembly and pin work, and it does everything I need it to do no slipping, no damage to parts. Simple, sturdy, and reliable. Definitely worth the price.

It's sturdy, it serves it's purpose, and I like the 1911 bushing cutout in the bottom. -1 star for the magnet though, it feels really weak. Pins dropped through and hit the counter under the block instead of the magnet being able to grab them.

If you have a Glock This works great because the holes line up perfectly for you to knock out the pins. I'm a custom gun builder and I build tons of Glock firearms. This is actually pretty good for lots of things because it has a built-in magnet to grab small pieces as they come off the gun like, springs, pins, etc. I have four of these if that means anything to you.

Nice gun tool to remove pins for Glock. Magnetic sides help to avoid loose small metal parts. Helps a lot!

Nice to have in the shop. Removing and replacing pins. The other reviews were spot on about the magnet. Not worth the price of admission. I place a magnetic tray beneath to capture the tiny stuff.

I used it along with a punch to remove the trigger group on a Glock 23. Helped to make the job quick and easy.

Good little piece of gear. Compact, well made and does the job. It could be a little heavier, though.

Works great and very sturdy. Well made and does the job. A lot easier than using a roll of tape. People were saying that the magnet wasn’t strong. It’s actully only one side that’s magnetic and there is a small magnet symbol to indicate which side it’s on. The magnet is strong and as long as your pins are trapped inside the block, just move it around and the magnet will pick it up. Magnet was strong enough to hold an Allen key.

Den fungerar helt perfekt till allt utom att återmontera pipbussningen men jag tillverkade en adapterplatta av plast för det. Nu fungerar den till allt. It works perfect for everything except mounting the barrel bushing again. But I made a small adapter of a piece of plastic. Now it works for everything.
