The kit was pretty easy to install, the video they have is easy to follow, after reading other reviews I started with the single Strut, and it works perfect, raises easy, stays up no problem, not hard to push closed

Not clear install instructions but there are videos the problem is they don’t show exactly how to position the washer that is fished through the hood. I installed incorrect and was unable to correct.I emailed them and they responded immediately and mailed me new washer and metal wire to do over at no cost to me . I appreciate the help and customer service . I highly recommend as product is good and customer service is great

Unless you have the proper means to modify some of the parts to accommodate for your strut bar being in the way(grinder, curse words, and more bolts), don’t get it. If you do then it works perfectly and clears everything. I’d definitely recommend if you don’t have a strut bar, but remember to put your washers on first because you can rip the top mount out trying to remove it.

the hood struts came stiff/defective the first time, meaning they don’t retract and I am aware of how they should come. They should come retracted and tied up with a cover that when you cut the cover the struts open up. Mine came already opened up and not able to retract. I don’t understand how I get the same product twice in a row after returning the first pair for the same issue. The company was no help telling me I should try and install it because it works once installed, but that was a lie because it caused damage to my hood when I tried to close it! Do not recommend this product or company! Completely dissatisfied.

I have always wanted to install an item like this on many other vehicles that I've owned previously. An item that auto makers should have installed all along. Anyway, these hood lifts as I would call them, are of excellent quality. This Seller used hydraulics that were more than strong enough to keep our hoods up. In fact, just one of them is capable of holding it. Yes, there could be better photographs to show how and where to install the hardware and at least an explanation of something like "Connect the black brackets to the shock tower in the location shown with holes facing inward. Connect the ball, washer, and thick rectangular bracket in this hole as shown. Connect shocks etc." To anyone contemplating on this purchase it is far more than worth it. Have fun everyone. (That will be 10 cents for the instructions of few words)Regards,John

Works as advertise. The only thing to be aware is you will have to buy a bigger washer so it bites up against the bottom of the hood. Otherwise it will not work. Besides that the product is great quality! No issues! I've had it for just about a month now. Highly recommend it! I have a 2018 Honda Accord

Took about 8 minutes to install, watched a couple of youtube videos to get placement correct. After installation could not close hood because neither strut would compress. No way to contact the company here on Amazon, the only option is to return the whole package. Would be a great kit if struts worked.” I thought it was just me but seems to be a hit or miss with the pair.

Good product, as far as you get rid of an awkward snakey bar, don't know how Honda designed it, not the best quality item, and not cheap but better than the original selly idea at least,
