The thickness isn't quite as stated, a little thinner .

I was able to make my new belt with this the only down side is it wasnt as wide as i thought it was.

I should have read the reviews on this product first, but since i'm writing this review, that means I didn't. This is NOT Genuine Leather, this is PU artificial leather. I knew in the first 10 seconds of removing it from the plastic bag it was rolled up in. Another dead giveaway is that it does not have that Genuine Leather smell either. Be Advised all would be buyers, if you want REAL Leather, make sure your search has the words GENUINE Leather in it. Otherwise you'll end up with what I got, artificial PU leather.

It's perfect

This stuff has an absolutely horrible odor that isn't going away. It doesn't appear to be real leather either. There are two distinct layers stuck together and compared next to other real leather pieces I have, this seems like it's synthetic. It still looks OK but the smell alone makes it unusable for me.
