PopSockets Phone Grip Slide for Phones and Cases, Sliding Phone Grip with Expanding Kickstand, Square Edges - White Opalescent

I love this thing. I had regular adhesive ones before this, and they eventually broke off, or I got a different case and couldn’t switch them. Some of them snapped off, leaving me to pry the sticky part off. It’s was wasteful and annoying. I bought one of these, and it is my favorite thing. I have small hands, so holding my phone while playing games or using features can be difficult. This thing is a lifesaver, and way more durable than the sticky ones. It can come apart without breaking too. The best benefits are:1. Perfect for small hands, especially when you have a large phone2. Adjustable. It fits any phone.3. It comes off without breaking. You can swap cases or remove it to use other mounts it would get in the way of it glued on.4. Durable and fixable. It can come apart in several ways and be put back together. You can even lose one of the two rubber bands and it will still fit just fine.Drawbacks:1. It comes off, so it can catch on things and talk of. I’ve lost mine in my coat pockets once or twice.2. It can move, and if you have an iPhone, you probably know that holding down the two side buttons to shut off the phone can also make emergency calls. I have accidentally called 911 a few times and hung up.

Discovering the Popgrip Slide Stretch was a game changer for me - it definitely adds bulk to my phone, but it’s been really wonderful to be able to remove this pop grip whenever I feel like it. The original pop grips were basically stick it on and it’s there forever. This thing really does work as a vertical and horizontal stand and makes it really easy to hold my phone one handed in horizontal mode without cramping or partially covering the screen with my fingers/hands. I’ve had one on my iPhone 11 for two weeks now without it coming loose and don’t worry about dropping the phone on my face while lying on my back etc.But buyer beware: I wasn’t paying attention to the details when I bought this one… This particular model is made for *square* cases, so if your case has a round edge look for another model. This pop grip slide will fit on a rounded case, but there are big gaps at the edges and I don’t trust it to be as secure as the slides made for rounded cases.

The media could not be loaded.  So I asked and was informed that this likely would not fit on my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that's in an otterbox defender case but I decided to give it a shot anyway and figured I would just return if it didn't fit. I'm happy to report it does actually fit!!! Maybe not the way it's supposed to but hey it works. So for those of you with the same phone and case wondering if this will work for you the answer is YES it will work!! It is definitely a tight fit and is stretched as far as it can be but with the way the defender case is designed it has a line going down the side and the popsocket band has these thin tab things on each side that sits perfectly in that crack holding it in place quite firmly. I tried to show this in the pics I'm uploading with this review. I would definitely be careful putting it on but it's not too bad and after you do it a couple times it's easy.It is a little difficult to slide up and down (mostly because it grips the case material firmly) but it can be done. Just don't try to slide it by grabbing the sides. I use my thumbs on the back near the sides and gently slide it down. I have found that sliding it on an angle is the easiest way to remove it if needed so if you don't want it to come off make sure you slide it straight up or down.I love that I can now use the popsocket to stand my phone horizontally or vertically which is something I could never do with the ones that stick to the case. It doesn't add much bulk to my phone either as you can see in the pics.I'm so happy I decided to order it and try it even though I was told it would not work for my phone with such a bulky case!! If you are not sure if it will work with your device and case I say try it anyway because the way it's packaged you can try it without even taking it out of the packaging and if it doesn't work out you can always return it. I would say that if your phone is any larger than the S22 ultra it will not work for you.One thing to note that may bother you but I don't really mind is that because of the band being on the side of the phone the phone doesn't sit completely level when placed horizontally on a surface and it will rock. I uploaded a video as well showing what I'm talking about. If this would bother you then I don't recommend it OR you can use a popsocket stand like I do and that eliminates the problem. I also included a pic of it on my stand that I use to eliminate that problem. This issue probably doesn't happen when it fits the phone better though. It stands vertically very well though just make sure you have the popsocket down low enough.I hope this review will with all of the photos and the video helps some of you out there that have the same phone setup to decide if this is right for you. I'm not sure how durable it is but if something happens I'll come back and update my review. Thanks for reading.

Holds phone

I love the idea of this popsocket. Sometimes the normal one would get in the way or want exact where I wanted it. I love the ability to move it up or down as I see fit and the ability to take it off if I needed to real quick. With that said, I can only put it below half way as it will push the buttons if it is any higher so be cautious if you have a phone woth low side buttons. Also, after a couple weeks of use it has gotten kind of loose and slides down a lot and will pop off every now and then, usually when I try putting it in my pocket. Another downfall, it doesn't fit every case. Many others have said it fits otterboxes bit I have only had one where it fits and that is the minimalist otterbox they sell (prefix series?), it's basically a bumper with a plastic back. This didn't even fit on the otterbox symmetry case. I will say, so far it's lasted longer than my last 2 regular popsockets (knock on wood) so I will take that as a win but I'm starting to loose faith in the popsocket.

I love that I can take this on and off. This way I can use my cordless charger. The color is fun! I love this.

After purchasing a silicone case and new pop socket (which did not stick) I saw a video with a very elaborate, time consuming & potentially dangerous process using a knife to dig into the case to put a pop socket into a silicone case. 🙄🥺This small device works great, stays on but can be easily removed when I want to mount my phone on a tripod to film something, which isn’t even always necessary because it can be pushed along the sides to reposition and get it out of the way.There is a nice variety of images when you want to switch the look because the disc twists off..but you do this with a precise, distinct movement. Unless you are doing that, this part is completely stable!

Es la segunda vez que lo compro. Es muy práctico, lo uso mucho mientras estoy de viaje porque evita que el celular se me resbale de las manos mientras tomo fotos o utilizo google maps. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Love this pop socket as you can use it on any type of phone and reuse it on a different case. It’s a little expensive considering the size, but, inflation. So, can’t help that I guess. Also, the packaging it came in was super large for the size of the product meaning there is more waste. Definitely could have been sent in a smaller package.

I really like that this is an adjustable so I can move it up and down my phone for different purposes. but it is just a simple piece of plastic... you're paying for the pop socket name. but I am glad I bought it. its good for my wireless charger which charges way faster than with the cord, so I can take off the pop socket for wireless charging.
