If you want a black exhaust trim finish on you X5 then don’t hesitate ! I fitted mine without any problems at all & they are still in place & rock solid after 500 miles. BUT DONT rely on the fitted double sided tape alone ! When i fitted mine i used some J&B Auto Weld which is a 2 part liquid similar to Araldite apart from the J&B Auto Weld is what it is called …… Step one … Clean both of your existing exhaust tips with a clean dry cloth. Step two … Peel the top strip of all the mounting tape points on the new exhaust tips. Step three … Get your J&B Auto Weld & mix half of each tube with a lollipop stick or like. Step four … With your lollipop stick or like now split the the J&B Auto Weld that you have just mixed into a equal amount of two. Step five … Now apply one half of you J&B Auto Weld mix to the inside bottom of your new black exhaust tip, there is no need to spread the mix, just leave the half mix in say a 50p size amount. Step six … Now slide your new black exhaust tip over over your existing exhaust tip & push firmly in position & hold it there for 60-90 seconds & then repeat the process to the other exhaust tip. Step seven … Now leave both to settle & set for a few hours, ideally overnight. Step eight … After leaving to set, Stand Back & Admire the new look of your X5 😉 6 Months Later …… it’s now April 2023, they have been fitted for over 6 months & have seen cold & high temperatures aswell as a couple of long high speed motorway runs & they are stil rock solid. Comfortably buy with confidence ! 😊

Was a bit sceptical about these but after purchasing and fitting they really do look good. Peel off the backing tape, I heated mine with a heat gun then fitted them to the exhaust tip. Once on the exhaust I carried on with the heat gun for a bit just to ensure the tape stuck. Perfect. They have stuck well and look the part
