Melissa & Doug Giant Dolphin - Lifelike Stuffed Animal (nearly 4 feet long)

My grandson loves these huge stuffed animals. He has the 4 ft whale and the sea turtle who’s colours are beautiful.

Having just gotten back from a trip to the Caribbean where we swam with Dolphins, my girlfriend was infatuated. This Dolphin plush we the perfect present! It is well made, soft (except for the tail, which has a lot of structure to keep it's shape) and of course cuddly.

I got this dolphin for my niece for her 5th birthday - she was having a dolphin-theme party. It came when expected in a giant box. My niece loved the box as much as she loved the dolphin - it became Dolphy's house. The dolphin itself is quite big (the picture for the item is not misleading - I would guess the kid in the picture is probably the size of an average 5-6 year old, and the dolphin is that big.) It looked well-made and seemed to be of good quality. Very soft and huggable. Overall, for less than $30 this toy was a huge hit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a dolphin-loving friend or family member!Edited to add: I see they took the kid out of the product picture, so it's hard to tell how big this toy is. It's big. Big enough that the parents of the kid you give it to are going to give you That Look. You know, the "Are you out of your mind, we don't live in a mansion" look. And the kid in question is going to be thrilled. :-)

Pillow

I ordered this for my 20 month old grandson to remind him of his real-life dolphin encounter when he was on vacation. He squealed with delight when he saw it emerge from the box. He hugs and kisses it and puts pretend toys in its mouth, just as he did the real one. At night he puts it to bed on the sofa and covers it with a towel. I can't believe the size and quality of the toy for this price. The eyes have extra detailing and it seems to be very sturdy. The box was a nice bonus too - his smart nanny spotted it in the trash and brought it to the playroom, and he loves to climb into it and sit with his collection of balls.
