I am a natural blonde who lets my hair air dry and I rarely use a curling iron so my hair is in a pretty healthy state just seems to lack shine at times. I mostly use this treatment before special occasions or vacation. I put it on dry hair, comb through and leave for 30 minutes. Leaves my hair smooth and silky for a couple weeks.

I bought the clear option because reviews claimed the brunette option left fine hair on face or fingers slightly brown-colored. This Glaze smells amazing. I have a LOT of hair and thought it would use a whole bottle in one use, but I was wrong, thankfully. The first time I used the 3-minute option in the shower, then washed & conditioned. Then blow-dried it without additional products in my hair so I could decide if it made any difference. I could tell immediately that it did. My hair had far less tangles when brushing through it, using a regular blow dryer. Today, a week later, I chose to use the 20 minute method. I actually left it on closer to 30 minutes while making breakfast. Rinsed out, shampooed, and conditioned, as usual, then used my brush blow-dryer and some product to protect my hair from the heat. My hair is so soft, so silky, so smooth & shiny, and hardly had any tangles. And my brush dryer had very little hair in it to clean out when I finished. That's highly unusual for me. I didn't have a more recent photo from just before using the John Frieda Clear Glaze, but I'm adding one to show how damaged-looking my hair was before using this product. It was so bad, I almost cut it all off. This Glaze will be a staple, must-have hair product for me from now on!

I bought this item to help with my hair looking dry and frizzy. The packaging was simple to open, and the bottle is easy to use. You just unscrew the top off. The product has a good salon-like smell, but it is strong, so if you're sensitive to smells, be aware. This product comes out silver/shiny and is rather runny. After you condition your hair, you evenly distribute the product from roots to ends for about 3 minutes, then rinse. This product did make my hair soft, but it also seemed to weigh my hair down. I would say this product helped with my hair health, but it did weigh down my hair.

I have shoulder length hair. left this on for 10 minutes after shampoo/conditioner and then rinsed it out with semi-cold water. The interesting thing is that I have colored blonde hair, and it was like putting a toner on my hair. It changed the color a little bit, but the shine feels amazing, and my hair feels amazing. My hair has changed a lot as Ive gotten older, but now it feels Ms looks so much healthier it’s just unbelievable. I have tried all kinds of different oils and shines. This is some thing that coats your entire hair. Definitely worth a try. I’m not sure how long it will last before I have to do it a second time, but I think it’s gonna last a little bit. My hair feels amazing!

I went with the weekly treatment for this. I have frizzy hair so I was hoping this would help sleek it down like dye does for me. It definitely added shine as you can see but as you can also see the frizz is still pretty there. Will keep using maybe it works the longer you use it. Will update review if anything changes.

I followed directions to a "t" ... shampooed/conditioned my hair as usual. Squeezed out excess water, applied product to my hair, set the timer. Rinsed out. I have shoulder length fine color treated hair. My conditioner is wonderful and, altho my hair tangles easily, I can glide a comb right thru it. However, after using the Glaze, my hair felt rough, dry and I had to apply a leave in detangler to be able to comb/brush. Don't really see any additional shine, either. It smells nice, tho! Oh well, and I bought the double package! Will probably give it to a friend and they may have better results. Waste of my money.

John Frieda Luminous Glaze leaves my hair looking shining and takes away the frizz on humid days. I love how my hair feels when I use this product!!!

I thought it was too good to be true, but it does work. So, I did the dumb thing, that I shouldn’t have done. I thought I could bleach my hair at home properly… you can figure how bad that went. I ended up with yellow damaged hair. I eventually found the right toner, but my hair still looked dull. Using this clear toner gave my hair a natural nice shine! It is fantastic and if you have dull dyed hair, this will give it a natural shine.

Hair feels soft and thicker (I have very fine hair). Used it 3 times so far but not seeing any gloss

Hated this. Threw half out. Hair has never been so dry. Friend found the same thing when I gave her the rest. Look at the ingredients before purchasing.
