I've owned the black version without a light for just over 3 years. Last week it started making some odd noises. Considering I have had this playing all night(8-9 hours) every night since it arrived back in November 2022, I'd say it was a good investment. I prefer the white noise function- there are three diiferent pitched ones (probably identified as white, punk and brown noise) as it helps to drown out the chatter in my brain when I try to fall asleep. It also effectively blocks intermittent noise from the surroundings: have used it several times when staying at hotels. Would recommend you use the kind of USB charging plug that you use with your mobile phone rather than the ones that fit flush into the mains socket to prevent surges(and burns) that some users have reported.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt this product deserves one. I was skeptical upon purchasing and of course I can't speak for the longevity of the product as I've only had it a few days, but so far it has greatly improved my life. I've lived with noisy, nasty, and violent next door neighbors for years now and every day at work I dread coming home as I know I'll get no peace. It was affecting my sleep, my happiness and I was on the brink of moving somewhere else (I probably still will but now it's less urgent). This device is simple. It plays a constant noise (many to choose from) that can be used to drown out unwanted sound. It had a nice lamp and a timer function. I didn't think it would have much effect as next door can reach incredible volumes, but now as soon as I get in from work I pop this device on and adjust the volume to the point where I cannot hear them anymore. The 3 days that I've used it I have been happier, more calm, at peace and generally have had much nicer evenings. It won't be for everyone. The noise that it produces can be changed to fit your needs (I use the default 'brown noise' sound) however many people won't want to have noise playing constantly. But for me and hopefully others, it offers a soothing effect and I even have it on during the rare moments of quiet because I find it helps me relax but also focus when necessary. If you have to put up with noise nuisances I really feel for you and recommend you at least try this device as you can always return it if it doesnt help, or if not then some brown noise over a speaker would probably work too. It might not work as well for anyone with upstairs neighbors as that noise can be more bassy but for people talking loudly/shouting outside and music I find it works great. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

I’ve had this for over 6 months now and it’s been used everyday - including being thrown on the floor numerous times by a toddler! It’s very robust, works well and I love the fact that you can unplug it and it remembers previous settings when plugged in again. Buttons a bit noisy but not a huge issue. Light works really well - lots of colour options and good sound quality and options.

Durch meinen Tinnitus den ich seit kurzer Zeit habe sah ich bei Amazon dieses kleine vielversprechende Gerät. Ich habe es davor mit meinem Internet Radio probiert und bin gescheitert da man die ganze Nacht nicht den 80er Sound hören kann. Dann bestellte ich mir schon verzweifelt diese Box und muss sagen es wirkt 🤗die vielen Geräusche machen es möglich. Ich schlafe derzeit mit dem knistern von Kamin Feuer ein man glaubt irgendwo auf einer verschneiten Hüte zu sein mit Bären Fell am kuscheln 😊Das weisse und braune R auschen ertrage ich nicht aber die Wasserfälle und die Klavier Sonaten sind sehr beruhigend. Also ich empfehle das Gerät sehr gerne und danke Amazon für die schnelle Lieferung 🤗ihr seid die Besten 😍danke

These are terrific for filtering out noise. Hubby snores and this blocks the sound. Love the different sounds
