Kerdi Board Hardware Set with 1-5/8 in. Screw and 1-1/4 in. Washer by Schluter

This was fine- as expected. One thing to note: if you are working with an old, hard wood- be careful with the drill. I was a newbie and wanted to keep from drilling too deep an impression in the kerdi-board. That means I ended up having to restart drilling to finish up fastening. Too much tork, too fast and the screw heads would pop off. Made me a little nervous! Once I was more confident and did a continuous drive with the screw, the problem stopped.

I think the only reason contractors like Kerdie is because you don’t get a hernia carrying it up and down stairs like cement board. Used these screws for a Kerdie prefabricated shower niche. Could have just used corrosion resistant screws and washers since the rest of my shower I used Hardiebacker. The screws were really light weight like cheap zinc screws so save your money. These aren’t anything special.

Works as expected but had two screws break the head off. When I put a new screw in the same spot as the broken one, it went right in.

Can't beat Kerdi. Spendy but fast.

Worked as intended. Helped me finish a bathroom project.
