Works great in the bedroom!!!
I moved from Houston to Utah two months ago. The humidity in our new home was only 13 to 15%. I was waking up every morning with extremely dry, itchy skin and chapped lips. My husband was waking up with nose bleeds every morning. I purchased this for our bedroom and run it at about 60% capacity only at bedtime. Since using the product, my husband has not had a single nose bleed and my skin is so much better and NO MORE chapped lips!Running at a setting of about 60%, it will run for exactly 12 hours and shut itself off if it runs empty. I have only overslept once where I woke and it had already turned off, so I know it works as described. It is so quiet I don't even hear it. Its not very pretty but works great. I have it sitting on the floor next to my bedside table and it does not leave any wet moisture or residue on the floor or the surrounding furniture. Its very easy to refill and has a hand hold on the top to easily carry it from sink to base. I like this one better than the one I bought for my living room that cost twice the price.

Great humidifier!
Just as other reviewers have stated, this humidifier is silent! The design is clean and no nonsense. The rectangular shape allows it to take up minimal space, unlike others that are curvilinear and bulky. It holds a gallon of water so it doesn't have to be refilled that often. The walls of the tank are solid but the top is translucent so the water level is visable but a little hard to see. I borrowed a great idea from another review...put something in the tank that will float (I used the top of a soda bottle). It works!! I can easily see the level of the water. Thanks for the idea. This humidifier puts out a nice heavy stream of mist and, boy, do my sinuses feel better. I highly recommended this humidifier.

good little humidifier
I've decided most humidifiers have 2 year life maybe 3, so I stopped struggling to find the best one. My last one was a Air Innovations very large with 2.15 gallon tank. It was opaque and hard to clean the tank. had a remote that I managed to break the first year. The light was very bright. This one died in the moddle of the 2nd season. The Invsipure Pro Easy to fill - flat top can sit the sink while it fills has a spot for your hand to carry easily mist is strong and can be directed good on table top power light is low/not too bright. has a night light that can below, bright or off Easy to use - I didn't bother reading the instructions until a few days after using quietCons small tank usually has to be filled every night for a 100 sq ft room - good for eliminating static shock and cling but for nasal moisturizing you'd want it right next to your head while sleeping too small for floor - better on table topI would buy again

White DUST! Vinegar killed it.
I bought two of these to use in bedrooms and they worked OK, filling the room with Bay Area-like fog every night. Here's the problem: *sticky WHITE DUST EVERYWHERE*. I have a water refiner that uses ion exchange. The white dust turned out to be minerals left over from the vaporizing. The machine got a bit noisier too. So, I poured vinegar into the tank and ran that. That killed both units. When I opened them up, there was extensive rusting on the components and pcbs. So, cautionary tale: USE DE-IONIZED WATER and don't put anything but water in these.

Can't think of anything I'd change about this one. Great buy.
This thing has been a workhorse during this way-too-long, way-too-cold, and way-too-dry Northeast US winter. The output is impressive, yet I have yet to find anything in the vicinity of the humidifier that feels damp, which was a problem with a previous unit I used to have. I use it in a room with 14-ft ceilings (maybe 12ft x 15ft, or so) and it's able to raise the humidity, at 65-68 degrees F, from the 15-20% range to at least 30% in a couple of hours. And this is usually with a fire going in the fireplace. Barely makes a peep, too--the only sound I sometimes hear is the gurgle of the water leaving the reservoir into the lower fan/motor portion. And...even on full-blast, a completely full reservoir will allow it to run at least 8 hours. At about 60% power, I've had it running 18 hours without needing to refill.

Silent operation
I've had for just a few days, but have had it running daily. Absolutely quiet. This unit is high output which I need in my desert living conditions. Small footprint and is lightweight. I don't use the nightlight feature as I like to sleep in a very dark room. The little green light that is on when the unit is running is brighter than I like. I would like it better if the light was red. I have put some tape over the light to cover it. So far, that is the only negative thing I would say, and it is an easy fix. So far, I love the unit and would like to have another one to run in another part of the house.

Broke within two weeks, ordered another one, broke within a month
Broke within a couple weeks of getting it. Prior to breaking I was very pleased with the overall function and quality. Thankfully, the return process has been very simple and my replacement has already been shipped. Here’s hoping the second one does not break so quickly.Edited to add, the second one broke within a few weeks but after the return window. Very disappointing product.

I recommend and I'm picky
I'm starting my 3rd year with this humidifier. No other has lasted this long and I averaged one a year. Best humidifier I've ever owned. I am a light sleeper and this is very quiet. You do hear the dropping sound of water readjusting but it is very faint. You have a great deal of control over the amount of mist that comes out. I believe you could get 40 hours out of this at the lowest setting.Has a small footprint, a small white box, clean lines. At first it bothered me that you can't see the water level, and that there is no easy carrying handle. I adjusted to both have my gallon of water by bedside table for fast easy fill. I spend a lot on distilled water but it's worth it as I've never had cleaning issues.
