Nutricost Glucomannan 1,800mg Per Serving, 180 Capsules (3 Bottles)

I purchased to help reduce “food noise”. I took one and didn’t notice anything different. The past two days I took 2 in the morning and noticed all day not really feeling hungry. But also once eating not feeling like I wanted a sweet treat. Pretty amazing. I don’t notice any “bathroom” differences though. I kinda was hoping I did. Very satisfied.

I bought these on May 30. I took them on May 31 without any diet changes just to see how I'd react. It definitely suppresses appetite. I could also feel it when it expands but the feeling resides by the time my 15-20 minute waiting period is up. I ate half of my usual serving. If you are an overeater, listen you your body bc you can still overeat on these. I just pay attention when my body feels fed & stop. I've been taking them while intermittent fasting until 11am & eating low carb for about a week. I have lost 8lbs. Below is how I take my pills. 10:40am- take 2 pills with 16oz of water 11am- eat 12-6pm- eat & snack AS NEEDED & drink lots of water! 6pm- take 1 pill with 16 oz of water 6:20pm- eat 7pm- kitchen closed. If I MUST have a snack, it's a healthy snack I'm fine with eating late like blackberries/strawberries. I have not experienced any side effects as some ppl have listed. Part of me feels like it's bc alot of ppl take the 3 pills at once. I read a review from another & they take 1 pill before each meal (3 meals). I take 2 in the morning & 1 in the evening. Part of me feels like the instructions didn't mean to take the 3 pills all at once. I will not be trying that.

I was “influenced” by an influencer to get this. I was very skeptical. I would take it maybe two to three times a week and I would get upset when I didn’t see results. It wasn’t until I was consistent with taking it that I finally saw results. This is not a fix all. I still needed to be mindful with what I ate. I still had junk food sometimes but not as often. I didn’t really crave it as much. Overall I would definitely recommend.

These didn't really help my appetite at all. Might be different for someone else. Easy to swallow as long as you drink plenty of water. The more the better. Did help with regularity.

WHY WOULD RICE FLOUR BE AN INGREDIENT IN A FIBER PRODUCT LIKE GLUCOMANNAN??? AND SINCE RICE FLOUR WEIGHS MORE THAN GLUCOMMAN, IS THERE MORE RICE FLOUR IN IT THAN GLUCOMANNAN? THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL BY READING THE INGREDIENTS LIST. SHAME ON YOU NUTRICOST. I WILL NEVER FALL FOR THIS SCAM AGAIN. THIS COMPANY IS OBVIOUSLY MORE CONCERNED WITH PROFIT THAN THE HEALTH OF ITS CUSTOMERS. I purchased a number of Nutricost brands, and thought I'd try this one since the price seemed slightly more economical. Shame on me for not noticing at the time of purchase that this product (and 2 other Nutricost items I ordered) has RICE FLOUR. Rice flour is a CHEAP FILLER that is used in some supplements and the biggest thing I avoid like the plaque. Rice has high levels of arsenic in it, and can be unhealthy to consume (especially when the rice is not cooked, but simply ground into a powder from it's raw state). This is the 3rd time I purchased a Nutricost product without being aware that this cheap filler RICE FLOUR was used in it. SHAME ON NUTRICOST (and SHAME ON ME, TOO for assuming this product is unsafe my consumption). I AM UPSET THAT I HAVE WASTED HARD-EARNED MONEY ON A PRODUCT I CANNOT USE. I WILL NEVER PRUCHASE ANOTHER NUTRICOST ITEM AGAIN. When something is priced lower, it can be very helpful to take the time to see if cheap ingredients are used.

So, I was skeptical, but thought I would give it a try. I am losing weight by fasting for 16-18 hours in every 24. In essence this means I don't eat breakfast anymore. This is fairly easy, but I was feeling pretty hungry from about 10 AM -noon, and wanted to use this to take that edge off if possible. I use ONE pill and a big glass of water (lots of other reviews warn not to use 3 pills like the directions say!) with my morning coffee at about 6:30 AM. For me, this has worked surprisingly well. The downside is that the pill gives me a fairly strong and not pleasant taste in my mouth. It's not awful, and my husband says my breath does not become bad, but it's there. Perhaps part of the appetite suppressing power... I would also say that it produces some gas, but not major. On the upside, it seems to work the way any bulk forming fiber supplement would, if you catch the drift. Makes you regular...
