Book 1 & Book 2 are the same
Book 2 went over everything in Book1, but it was still a good book to read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I plan on buying the paperback books of The Lyon's Crew.

3.5 Stars...
I enjoyed this 2nd book better than I did the 1st.I followed the flow of this book better than in the first and it definitely held my attention more. However, I am still only giving it 3.5 stars. Why? Well, let me explain:1) Our heroine is a weeeeeee bit on the young side of how she acts. To the point it's annoying. Now, when you're in her head, she's not annoying, but when your on the outside looking in, her demeanor is a little immature to the point it's like her inner 15 year old pops out with all the "squeeling" and "jumping" she's doing. Then there's the pouting. She also calls one of the new side characters CyCy instead of Cy or Cyrus and it just makes me cringe.2) There's so much build up that danger's a-comin', however, no danger comes until like the last 10% of the book. I HATE when this happens. What good is it to be telling me about this over-protective, hot alpha male when he's got no reason to be that way! I want action baby!3) There was a little bit of a, shall we say, "overboardness", that this author brought on in the whole, "mark my woman" territory. Yeahhh.......um.....weird. A butterfly? *clears throat* Ummmm.... ????So what did I like? Well, obviously this wonderfully possessive man. The sex scenes where also amazing. I loved them! (Insert Kindle idea of attached massager here)I do feel like the ending was a little rushed, because, well it just ended and then had an epilogue with a "surprise" in it and I would have liked more info to at least that build up, but, hey, once again, we can't have it all! (though it looks like there is a novella of this)So, it was a good follow up to the first. I liked reading about the characters again and overall this is more of just a fun read. Don't go into it looking for something meaningful and deep, just read it for fun and you'll do okay.

"My Angel"
OH MY GOD!!!! Was so awesome!!!! I absolutely love this series and I do hope that Jordan continues with it for awhile. The story just sucks you in and keeps you right there. I am 44 years old, but when I read this I turn back into the 18 year old innocent that I once was, and the dream that I would have some bada$$ come and take care of me. I always imagined my knight-in-shining-armor would be more Prince Dom, less Prince Charming. Colton fit that to a T.Kat has grown so much in this book. She has become the little spit-fire that she was destined to be. All thanks to Colton taking care of her and giving her courage to take her life back. It was beautiful!Really cannot say enough good stuff about this book and Lyon's Crew. I've read some of the negative reviews about punctuation and grammar complaints, but I just don't understand the hating. The story never gets confusing or incomprehensible due to a missing comma or quick change of POV. I never once didn't understand who was speaking or what was going on. I did get "lost" throughout the whole book, but it was because I was "lost" in the story. I was there.Jordan, please allow us to see more of Kat and Colton's future. Besides, Jennifer is still out there, crazy as a loon. Plus, her family can't really be all okay, having had two psychos for kids. Just saying... hint, hint.Really, I encourage you to read this first book, Lyon's Crew, and then read this one. Jordan Silver has become one of my fave authors... Love her!

This Book Will Annoy Anyone With IQ above 4.
Well, if you can look past everything that is wrong with this book, there are areas that are quite good. So, what is wrong? Has the author ever heard of run-ons? This novel is full of them and it interrupts the flow in that you have to go back and reread to decipher the meaning way too often. Puntuation is awful. The charecters have way too muxh inner diologue. It gets repititive in places. The characters contradict themselves a lot. It's the author kept forgetting what she previously had written. The leading female is whiny and annoying not to mention that she is built up to be a risk taker/free spirit type, but then lets her husband treat her like she is a 2 year old child. She is too young as well. She is barely 18 when the series begins so she only a couple months away from being a victim of a child molester and that is how he is portrayed in that he comes on way too strong. He is a controlling, manipulative, sexist, narcissistic, 1 kill away from being a serial killer kind of character. He is awful and he just gets worse as the series continues. I had a really hard time trying to like him. I'm still not sure I like him. With that being said, when he is acting like a normal, loving human being is when the good stuff is created.

I think this was better than the first book and leaves you wanting to continue on the series.
Colton Lyon has kept his girl safely by his side. Kat Sloan is flourishing as they begin their life together. With that though Colt is protective because of her past and Kat is pushing back a bit wanting to be treated as his equal. To Colt she is his equal, his everything but as a man it is his duty to love, cherish, and protect. With enemies still waiting to be brought down, Colt's only objective is keeping Kat by his side and eliminating everyone in his wake.I reread the first book because the reviews have been so good I thought I was missing something. Second time it is better, I will say that sometimes Kat shows her age. Colt is older and a dominant, you never have any doubt how much he loves her. I think this was better than the first book and leaves you wanting to continue on the series.

The perfect part 2
The follow up to Colton and Kat.God I loved this book, shocker considering how much I loved the first book, but seriously I think this is my fav of the 2.....no wait maybe not....ok so I can't say that but I did love it as much as the first one! This one continues with Colton returning to Kat after going out to sort the final person responsible for hurting Kat and her friend thereby exacting justice on all 4 for their crime. He continues to be his alpha self whilst helping Kat to spread her wings.....within reason seeing as the psychotic harpy and her brother are still out there. The more Kat spreads her wings the more Colton gets to play his dominant self in a way, not that he suppresses her, but he wants to keep her safe from them. It leads to some hot scenes, not that they needed an excuse though. Then they get engaged.....no more spoilers.I thought as a follow up this book was amazing. You get the laughs (his stoned dad AGAIN being one of them), you get the progression of their relationship and the solidifying of their love, Kat getting her wings (in a couple places wink wink) and you also get the drama and suspense. There's a real storyline to the book with love on top and it ticks ever star shaped box for me.

Fab!
Great continuation of Colton and Kat's story. It jumps around a bit near the end, skipping ahead weeks. Still as hot as ever though.

Ok read. Strong alpha biker. Not your usual biker read. No drugs or sharing women just a nice sweet story.

ok bokk but some cring worthy moments.
Quite enjoyed this book but found some parts uncomfortable and sleazy lyon was far too controlling of his Angel!! Story line was standard for biker books - two rival gangs girl gets took type nothing new.
