After using chapstick for years and years, I developed a sensitivity to beeswax. Beeswax is a primary ingredient in most chapsticks; it can be hard to find one that doesn’t have it or hides it far down in the list of ingredients.The Higher Education Make Out Ready Lip Balm is vegan, so it uses Candelilla wax instead of beeswax. That alone is a big plus for me.The active ingredients in the lip balm are aimed at sun protection, but it’s also moisturizing. I use it before bed and my lips are soft when I wake up. I would use it during the day, but the pomegranate scent is a bit strong for me. The lip balm lasts for a good while after each application, so I get tired of the scent after a while.The lip balm is made in the USA.

I started using the Higher Education RUSH Salicylic Acid Complexion Pads (60 pads for $27), immediately I noticed the difference. My skin didn’t feel sticky after using them, just fresh and clean without drying. I’m so excited, what a difference. All of the products come well sealed and in boxes that are also sealed.I have a few other Higher Education products as well. Including* MAKE OUT READY Lip Balm SPF 15 ($9), it feels nice on the lips and provides sun protection. Not a strong flavor.* NO BRAINER Gentle Facial Cleanser ($29) for my daughter with dry skin and she loves it.* PRE-REQ Purifying Facial Cleanser ($29) for me since I have oily to combo skin. I really like the way it doesn’t block my pores and not drying to the areas that are combo. I was using Acure face wash and it really wasn’t doing anything for my complexion, so happy to change over now.

This Higher Education Make Out Ready lip balm is great. It's vegan, which means no beeswax for those who specifically look for that. It also smells terrific, and it keeps my lips moisturized. The cost of this is a little expensive, and I generally wouldn't even consider paying almost 10 bucks for a single lip balm, but this one is worth it in my opinion. My lips actually feel better than they do with regular chapstick, so I'd have to say this is one of those cases of getting what you pay for.

I do not taste the pomegranate at all but this is really soothing on my lips. It smells really nice but I just can't taste anything which is fine. I ordered this because my lips get so dried out during the winter. I like that this is paraben-free, gluten-free, sulfate-free, nut-free, cruelty-free, vegan and made in the USA. Sadly though, $9 is way more than I pay for a lip balm. I would be more inclined to purchase again IF the price were lower. This is way out of my lip balm budget for as much as I use. The price is why it gets 4 stars.

This arrives in the cutest box! And, for the sake of safety, it is sealed on both ends. This ensures that the lip balm arrives to your home in pristine condition.Recycle that box and then peal away the safety strip on the tube. That's right, another safety measure! I'm just loving this company and their devotion to caring for their customers!Now, I'm used to lip balms with SPFs being opaque and awkward looking/feeling on lips. Here? Not at all! This applies very, very smoothly, and is crystal clear. So nice! The feel is soothing and nourishing. And the scent is very light, but very pretty.This is great for caring for your lips! Love it!

I usually use plain ole Chapstick on my lips, but when I saw this cruelty free, vegan brand, I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to see how well it worked.Many times, products that claim to be cruelty free and vegan just sort of sit on top of the skin and kinda shift around and feel slimy, never soaking in a nourishing the skin.Lemme tell ya, this lip balm is THE BOMB! It feels so posh on my lips. I also put it on at bedtime, and my lips are not dry in the morning. They feel plumper and look younger.This would make a great stocking stuffer!I highly recommend this product and this brand!I hope you find this review helpful.

I sunburn instantly in every season so I liked that this lip balm has an SPF of 15. Upon first opening this, I thought it was just an ordinary lip balm, but it feels very soothing and moisturizing. I love the scent, it is sweet and fruity without being too intense. I liked that the lip balm is clear without any tint to it, so I can wear this whenever. What I was a little disappointed about was that it included Oxybenzone in the ingredient list. I assumed that since this product was described as paraben and sulfate free, I had hoped it would be mineral based as well. I generally try to avoid sunscreen products with Oxybenzone. Other than that, I really like this lip balm and my lips feel soft and hydrated.

Yes.It's more expensive than other brands, but in my opinion it's worth the price.Vegan, cruelty-free, sulfate and paraben free, dermatologist approved, clean and safe ingredients, and made in the USA - worth it. Especially my three most important which are cruelty-free, clean and safe ingredients, and made in the USA.It goes on smooth and doesn't feel waxy in any way, keeps lips soft. It has a very light pomegranate flavor, so it's not overpowering or candy-like artificial taste - it's a very light flavor.In my opinion, it's worth every penny.
