The battery life on my Dyson V10 vacuum was so poor that it became nearly unusable. You couldnt use the max suction feature literally at all as one or two seconds and the battery would be completely dead. Looking for a fix that was more affordable than the insane prices Dyson charges for a replacement battery I took a risk on this one. No regrets! I have been using this replacement for about 1.5 years so far and it actually STILL lasts longer than the original battery did when it was new. Price was much more reasonable than the official Dyson and this one looks good once installed. The extra filter was a bonus that I didn't need but really appreciate so that I can clean one and have it drying while I use the other. You have to remove and replace a few screws to install but it is very easy. Recommend for anyone needing to revive their expensive Dyson vacuum!

I needed a replacement battery for my V10 Animal. My battery wasn't completely dead but the charge only lasted a few minutes. This battery solved my problem. Was pretty easy to install (I'm not at all handy) and worked well after the first charge. I like that this comes with a filter replacement because the new filter made it work like it did when it came out of the box. I cleaned my filter regularly and thought that was enough, but I know now that they periodically need to be replaced. The new filter made as much of a difference to performance than the battery. Great combo, recommended.

Installing the replacement battery is very simple you remove three small Phillips head screws, pul the old battery out, put the new battery in and put the three screws back. After I gave it a day to fully charge up I put it to use and found the battery life much greater than my old factory battery.Then it started acting up and the trigger stopped responding correctly. Initially it would need a few pulls to start up and then as long as I held down the trigger it would stay running, but within a day of use the trigger wouldn’t work anymore.I swapped the new battery out for the original worn battery and thankfully it works again so unlike some of the other reviewers it didn’t destroy my trigger but I now have to wait for a replacement and hope it doesn’t happen again or worse damage my vacuum.I will update my review when I receive my replacement battery.

I purchased this battery as a replacement for my Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute. After three years, my original battery was down to four minutes of run time on medium speed. The original Dyson battery is 25.2 V, 2300 mAh, 58Wh. The original Dyson battery ran for 26 minutes on medium speed when my vacuum was new. This replacement battery is 25.2V, 5000mAh, 126Wh. Since this replacement battery has higher mAh and Wh, I was wondering if it would last longer on medium speed than my original Dyson battery. It did not last longer. It timed out exactly the same. I made sure the new battery was fully charged & tested with a stopwatch. The new battery provided 26 minutes of continuous run time on medium speed. (I did not test / time the low speed or the boost speed on my Dyson). This is by no means a huge disappointment. 26 minutes is more than enough time for me to vacuum; but if you are expecting more time, just know that this battery will probably work out to be the same as the original. Considering that this battery is a third the cost of the Dyson brand replacement, I feel it’s an excellent value for the money. This, of course, is dependent upon the performance of this replacement battery over time. I’m hoping to get at least a couple years use from this replacement. The battery was relatively easy to install, although I had to be careful removing the screws. I had to use a precision screwdriver and apply a lot if pressure while turning to avoid stripping the screw head. The freebie filter that came with the battery does not work, so don’t calculate that into your purchase decision. The filter attached OK, but while running the vacuum it whistled loudly. It was unbearable. I removed and reinserted the filter several times to see if the whistling would stop, but it didn’t. The filter just isn’t a quality replacement. Fortunately, I have regularly cared for and washed my filter. My filter had just been washed and properly dried before testing this replacement battery. I’ve included a photo of this battery. As you can see, there is not a brand name on the battery. It’s hard to say if this same battery is sold by others on Amazon at a lower price. There are a lot of sellers with Dyson replacement batteries. I chose this seller based on a comparison of reviews. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

It’s not as powerful as the original vacuum battery but it def is worth the money compared to buying a new vacuum! Not sure what happened to my original vacuum but I was only able to vacuum like five min with it on low and only like 30seconds on high. Before buying a new vacuum, I decided to try to buy a new battery. On high, it still only last a little over five minutes but that’s way better than the 30 seconds I was getting it. It was also super easy to attach!

Worked great for a reasonable amount of time. We purchased in May 2023, and it tonally died in Feb 2025 (without any warning). Seems to be a consistent problem with these batteries.

This was going to be my last try in attempting to get my vacuum working again as none of dyson’s recommended troubleshooting was working for the issue I was having which was the vacuum immediately shutting off after starting when the trigger is pressed . (Note : this is NOT the same thing as what Happens when it’s clogged where it will start pulsating . Dyson kept reverting to that issue despite continued objections that that was NOT the issue). So if this did not work, I was going to give up and that $700 stick was about to become just that … a stick…After I got the delivery package I immediately plugged it in to be charged and waited VERY impatiently… once done ,I can’t tell you how ecstatic I was to hear that motor come on and STAY on ! I was happier than one should ever be over a vacuum cleaner 😂.THANK YOU!! Soooo happy !
