Excellent for a young baker
My 10 year old grand daughter could not pick up and use my own hand mixer, it was too heavy. But this one is light and she can use it with ease. It fitted her small hand perfectly. She does not need other attachments. She was very happy to use it. Trying to get her interested in baking and cooking while she is young to help her for when she is older. Pic provided. (Please be kind. She is only 10 and this is her own work). The strawberry jam and lemon icing sponge was lovely.

Happy cook and baker with this purchase
Wanted a reasonably priced and powered mixer to replace one I’ve had 20 years to compliment a food processor. One that was a no fuss for putting beaters in and easy clean. Looked at a lot of mixer and a lot of reviews before settling on this one. I’m glad I did and delighted with the purchase. Enough power to mix up a a four egg Victoria sponge without any effort and a brilliant Pavlova in minutes. Light weight for holding it in your hand but no light weight in what it can do. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

🌟Hilariously Handy: A Review of the Kenwood QuickMix Lite🌟
🌟 Hilariously Handy: A Review of the Kenwood QuickMix Lite🌟 Are you tired of your kitchen appliances staging a rebellion every time you bake? Meet the Kenwood QuickMix Lite, a lightweight hand mixer that’s ready to whip, beat, and blend without staging a coup! First off, let's talk about its slow speed start. It’s like the mixer knows you need a gentle wakeup call before the morning coffee kicks in. No sudden jerks or splatters here, just a smooth start to your mixing journey, because even mixers need a bit of grace in the morning. Now, let’s get to the Twin Beaters. No, they’re not a retro '80s hair band; they’re the dynamic duo of the baking world. They handle everything from silky cake batters to chunky cookie doughs with ease. And they won’t judge if you sneak a taste of the batter, after all, who hasn’t? And the SureEject feature? It’s like the mixers got together and said, “Let’s make clean-up as easy as pie.” (Speaking of pie, this mixer can whip up a mean meringue for yours.) But wait, there’s more! It’s so lightweight, you’ll feel like you’re wielding a lightsabre in the kitchen (cue your best Jedi chef impression). No more arm workouts while making meringues, unless you count the dance moves you’ll bust out when your baking turns out perfectly. In conclusion, the Kenwood QuickMix Lite is not just a mixer, it’s a culinary sidekick with a sense of humour. It’s ready to tackle your baking adventures with style, grace, and a dash of whimsy. Just remember, with great mixing power comes great responsibility… to eat more cake! Happy mixing! 🍰🎉

Just like one I had YEARS ago
I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I'm not trying to imply that Kenwood is manufacturing the same beaters they did yonks ago and have never modernised them, but.....a few years before I got married, in 1978 (!) I bought myself a hand held Kenwood Chefette. My friend who studied industrial design recommended it. It was a great beater, didn't run away with me - electric machines do tend to do that - was light to hold and performed every task I asked of it. I loved it. Then for a birthday my husband bought me a bigger beater, with a stand and bowl, which would allegedly be better, so I gave my wee beater to his sister. The posh beater was definitely not better. Sigh.... I was looking for a new beater on Saturday. My grandson is getting to the age of appreciating butter icing and I hated the one I had. It was heavy to hold and moved MUCH too fast for me. I was going to buy a more powerful Kenwood....when I read the reviews for this one. It was small (yaay), light to hold (yaay) and was said to start off really slowly and then pick up speed (super yaay). And...it looked quite like my beloved wee beater! It just arrived. I am so delighted. It works in a similar way to the one I loved years ago. It even looks a wee bit similar. And it has a lovely new feature, a base plate that has a groove for the cord to wind into. I'm thrilled. And Harry will probably be thrilled with my old chocolate cake receipe with the butter icing. Thank you so much.

Good value
Great mixer, just right for my 4 year old grandson. Not too heavy or complicated with just one set of beaters, that’s all that’s needed for making cakes. Would recommend. Controls could be a bit easier to manipulate, and beater eject.

This item was delivered before the estimated date but arrived with a UK power plug, which was not shown in the description. It was delivered to a German address, so it was necessary for me to purchase a mains adapter, which I wasn't impressed with.
