McGraw-Hill Education 2,000 Review Questions for the CPA Exam

I got this study guide for a friend a while back. I just recently asked that person if the guide helped knowing that she did pass her CPA exams. She said that it did help and it had extra practice questions that helped her prepare.

Good book

Very helpful for those wanting to be a cpa

good amount of questions but if the book isn't updated that could be a big problem. would be great to add in some simulation problems with all these multiple choice

Really great questions with lots of variety.

This book has some problems 1) CPA MCQs generally have four answers to choose from. For some reason, nearly every question in this book that isn't quantitative gives two answers and you choose between Answer 1, Answer 2, Both, or Neither. I guess they just didn't feel like coming up with 2 more answers? You'd think a CPA MCQ book would want to follow the format of the actual exam. 2) You've been warned - there are flat out wrong answers, especially in the BEC section. Price elasticity was calculated wrong in one question, NPV wrong in another, Depreciation wasn't factored in on another. Be prepared to google stuff or reference other books. 3) Some questions/answers are just weird and irrelevant. For example, according to the book, an auditor should be familiar with "the future plans for the company" before accepting an audit. Huh? That isn't a stated GAAS requirement I've seen anywhere. There are quite a few similar questions that seem "made up" and are not taken from actual SAS publications like on the exam. I guess the book is still useful since there aren't many MCQ options that don't cost a fortune. I use it more to study the topics in other materials as I'm going through the questions.

Book must be good for seller is bad. He initiate the refund because there was a discounted price and simultaneously increase the price to almost double.
