UPDATE: I had horrible luck with the light I received as you can see from my previous review. But the company did reach out and did make it right. So updated my rating at least the company is making an effort.I wanted to like this, but the light is poorly constructed. Sure the mounting bracket is heavy duty steel and mounting it was easy, along with panel. But from day 1, was very unimpressed with brightness of light even with maximum sun all day. Then it stopped working after 4 months all together. Most the hardware was rusted, for an exterior light you would think they'd use Stainless hardware.I pulled it down and I see the entire light is filled with rusty water. Threw it in the garbage.

We got this to brighten the area in front of the garage so the boys could see at night to play basketball. It’s very bright and has a wide lighting range. It’s so easy to install that I did this by myself in no time at all. The best thing is that it comes fully charged and ready to light up those dark corners or dark areas. It can be set to only come on when needed or can be set to stay lit all night. The remote control controls all functions of the light from about 40 feet away which is fine with me since that’s all I needed. This is an ideal lamp for those hard to light areas. It’s solar powered so no messy electric wires and fire hazards. It’s been 100 percent weatherproof since it’s been out in rain and very high temps. Great value for the money.

I bought 4 of these lights for my feedlot and barnyard. I've put 2 up so far and they provide good light for doing chores in the dark. I've had to return one of the lights because the plug on the light head was distorted and I couldn't plug the solar panel into it. The nut to connect the panel and light head was crushed in it's packaging and I had to massage the other 3 back into shape to get them to thread on. I also upgraded the bolts for my pole mounting application as 1 nut would not tighten and I was worried the lack of washers provided for the clamp type mounting would allow the head to work through the holes. Each light came with2 remotes and I found they must all be on the same frequency as Ive been able to operate the 2 I have up with the same remote.

I installed this light on a 20’ pole in my front yard 10 months ago in a spot where it gets direct sun(I live in Washington State there’s a lot of cloud cover here). Most of last winter it worked intermittently sometimes coming on sometimes not. Sometimes coming on at night for an hour or two then slowly the light would fade until it was off completely. Around late spring it would get enough of a charge to last all night. When the light was fully charged it was bright and made a great yard light. By the end of summer it just stopped working it doesn’t turn on at all. I imagine it needs a new battery but who wants to climb a pole every 6 months to change a battery on a light that only works in the summer. I’ll change the battery next spring and have a yard light for 6 months.

Solar power Street latest super bright very easy to install I got it for the side of my house so I can look at my driveway at night because I do not have any street lights around my house because I live in a dead-end street this is super bright and works awesome and no running electricity

The street light gives off great light and works from dusk till dawn, the only problem I had with the light was that the instructions were very vague. There was no detailed parts list explaining what the parts were for or how to assemble the unit. It took a little while to figure out what went with what but after that I was able to assemble the unit and mount it in about 35 minutes and it was very stable.

I am extremely disappointed in the light. When we first got it about a month ago, it was great. However, we bought this particular one for the ability to be able to switch it on and off manually and/or use the timer function. We live in the country in a place that is cloudy, and there are long nights during the winter. We need it to turn on only once per day for in the morning for the bus since the bus driver keeps passing our house. We have had other solar lights in the past, and know the solar battery will not last all night into the morning. We do not have enough sun to fully power battery to last its full potential. With the feature to turn it on only when we want to, by using the timer, that would allow us to use the light’s batteries when we need it around 6 in the morning using the timer function. Every night at dusk, the light turns on, but only for a short period of time probably three hours. By morning the light is dead, and won’t turn on. We cannot get the light to not turn on at dusk. Despite the fact that it is only on for 1 to 3 hours at night, it’s still is dead in the morning.

I used this on the eave of the side of my house that had no ready access to electricity. That area was always dark and there was no easy way to get to it from the attic. This solar light worked perfectly! I run it as a dusk to dawn installation and it works perfectly. Installation is easy enough for anyone with basic hand tool skills. Great value, easy enough installation, works as advertised and great seller.

Solid build and very bright but it does need a full day of direct sunlight to remain lit for the 5hr timer.After a cloudy day it will only light for a few hours before fading out.
