Olight takes its popular S2R flashlight to the next level with the Olight S2R II. Now delivering a super bright 1150 lumen max output, the upgraded TIR lens throws a perfectly balanced beam up to 147 yards. With 5 brightness levels plus Strobe for emergencies, you will find plenty of uses for this incredibly handy tool. The S2R II is 5% shorter and lighter than its predecessor the S2R, making it easier to grip. This compact body and the included pocket clips, pouch & lanyard make it an ideal everyday carry light.

S2R Baton II Probably the best EDC light you can get
Recharge by just attaching the magnet connected to any USB no more having to remove battery to charge using a separate charger, it's a huge improvement you can easily top off your battery without the hassle so you keep your light charged no more waiting until the battery is dead. The UI (user interface) is very intuitive once you get used to it and that takes no time at all.You have direct access to turbo at any time including from the off position just by double clicking, you also have easy access to low-low by click and hold from the off position. It also has a tiny light in the switch that is green and then yellow as you deplete the battery and finally it will turn red when you really need to charge. The pocket clip is very clever it can not spin around, as you may see in the pics the pocket clip where it is attached to the light is recessed into the light itself. It comes with a spare pocket clip, battery installed and a cool soft bag along with the magnetic charging cord which you just need to plug into any USB outlet and then the magnet to the end of your light to charge, the magnet also has a tiny red light that turns green when the light if fully charged.

Disappointing
I purchased this light about 6 months ago, to replace an aging knock off led light. At first it seemed to be the perfect replacement but after 6 months it has developed several issues.1. reliability. one in 3 times i pull the light out it doesn't work. I have to unscrew it to reset the led. this is a fatal flaw to me2. lens. The lens has a number of scratches and even a chip. It's only used for pocket carry and I've never had this issue with other lights.3. body. Same as the lens, chips, cracks, and exposed contacts. Shouldn't be an issue on a light in this price point. So far ol light has not responded to my request for another light but we'll see if I may have gotten a defective unit

Its a middle of the road light.
Its a good light. Its just a bit overpriced for what it does. There are plenty of lights on the market that are just as bright for a much lower price. Don't get it confused though. There is a big difference between good quality bright lights and cheap lights that are pretty bright. You are paying for the interface, the quality, the durability, and most importantly ease of use. This is a middle of the road light and is about $10 more than is should be.

Awesome light
Got this on prime-day and pleasantly surprised.Battery life is amazing if you don't run at full power all the time. Honestly, the 100-hour runtime with 15 lumens is amazing for camping. And if you need some more light, which you typically don't, it's as quick as a double-press of the button.I've tested the waterproof features and it worked great. Charged the battery separately in my smart-charger and only charged 3100mah, so a little lower than the spec on a fresh battery, but pretty close to what they claim. My only main complaint is the button illumination sucks. Was hoping the Green and Red would be more pronounced, but Red is essentially unviewable. Not sure if that's just mine or all of them, but that's why I removed a star. The battery percentage indicator/lockout LED is basically unusable.

EDC overkill
I got this one of the S1R ii cause of the superior specs but little did I know this one was excessive. The battery last an incredibly long time despite regular use it took me a whole month before it finally got down to the 70% mark. It's really bright though it has multiple settings and a memory so you can leave on the mode that works best for you. I love the flashlight the only downsides are that the size and weight can make it difficult to put on a hat securely and that it takes a while to charge though with the massive battery life its understandable. Other than that the clip also has a tendency to bend though if you collect pocket knives you know pocket clips dont last forever. In most cases you can bend it back and it comes with a spare so I dont mind I would like to see olight sell spares on there website though.

It's just right.
IMO there's been too much hype about "Lumens" and CRI and all that jazz. For most of us, all we need is something that's likely to be in our pockets, instead of in a drawer somewhere, that's reliable, with solid controls. It's probably safe to say that the OLight user interface is one of those things where you love it or you hate it, but in my case I love it. That moonlight option is superb when you need to wander around the house after everyone has gone to bed and you don't want to destroy your night vision. The turbo mode is great for "panic" lighting needs. The length of the light is good for a full hand grip but if you don't care about that try the S1R II, it's pretty much the same function as the S2R II only with less battery life and shorter length. One thing about OLight and me is that I first became a fan with the S15 and S1, and they were powered by AA batteries. It has taken me a while to accept that rechargeable batteries make sense but I'm there now, though I wish OLight would go back to offering more choices with AA powered lights.

This is a nice feature rich little light.
The perfect little light for me so far. The clip shape is what grabbed my attention at first. I knew that design would allow the light to clip on easier than the traditional design. And the switch. Click on click off. Done. What could be simpler. My other little lights you have to click and hold for it come on and click and hold for off. Otherwise you go into different modes. This flashlight is very bright for it's size. I tend to keep it at a medium setting to conserve battery life. So far I haven't had to charge it yet since it's initial charge out of the box. And that magnetic charge cable design is the killer feature for me on this light. It snaps on with a reassuring snap as it's pulled from your grip and centers itself on the bottom of the flashlight body. Then there is a confirmation light at the end of the cable that goes into the "puck" that confirms that you are connected and charging. Just don't lose that cable. But all would not be lost though as you can easily remove the battery and charge it in any standard 18650 charger. Probably a good idea to keep a spare charged and ready to go anyway.
