Daily Christian Affirmations for Teen Boys: 365 Days of Faith, Motivation, Confidence, and Empowerment

I have purchased two books. One to read and one to give away. One of the things I like is that it translates to not just teen boys, but to everyone. I can start each day with a scripture and quick explanation. Very nice.

The Christian translation is good.

As a youth pastor I am always trying to get students to read their Bibles. I always get questions like: I don't know where to start, I don't know what this means or even this doesn't seem to be relevant to me.Daily Affirmations takes small, understandable, applicable truths and communicates them. In a world of confusion and lies, this book helps frame our identity around not what friends or others say about us, but what the Word of God says about us.

Obviously written by someone who knows teen boys as it is perfect for daily reading. Short, concise, and meaningful, brings understanding and clear relevance to the scriptures; encourages seeking His guidance and strength on a daily basis. I love how short and specific each day is. Perfect for a teen. Perfect for a mom too :)We leave this on the table for my 17YO son to pick up before school while he is eating breakfast but I grab it too. Could be called Daily Affirmations for everyone, although some are gender and age specific.I will be buying this as gifts for my son's friends as they graduate high school.Todd, time to write a Daily Affirmations for Moms :)

I have always believed in the power of daily affirmations.This is the PERFECT book for my teen boys.Every day to wake up and read a quick passage to start their day off with a positive step, makes my mama heart so happy. I have always told them to “wake up and choose happy”!There are so many good nuggets to meditate on during their day. I love hearing their topic of conversations, seeing their smiles and witnessing them make positive choices in their day.I was provided with an advance review copy and will definitely be buying 3 more so each of my boys have one.

I have three boys and they all read and enjoyed the book! They are somewhat familiar with scriptures since they're all church kids, but my 12 year old said it helped "translate" scriptures and gave them new meaning, especially the ones he'd known his whole life but never really fully grasped.This book gives them the word of God in THEIR language, where they can read the words that sound like their own voice, to make it easy to understand who they are and who God is. There are many many kids' devotional books out there but it means a lot to find one that is written for boys and specified to their thoughts and needs at this age.It's a great habit for boys to start or end their day with a few pages of this book. It's quick and easy to read but so impactful.

I wish this was around when I was a teenager! As a young man, I struggled to find my worth in Christ. Sure, my parents would remind me all the time, but I was heavily influenced by my friends and had the world’s lies constantly filling my mind. I believed I had messed up too much for God to actually love me. This book takes scripture and provides affirmations that are easy for any teen boy to understand. In our current digital age, and with the world trying to drown out God’s truth, we need this book now more than ever!
