Temperature control is correct
I use it to control a heater for a smaller space. The temperature range is set at 68°F to 69.8°F and has been working correctly and stably for over two months. worth.

For the greenhouse
A friend had one in their greenhouse and was happy with it. I ordered one for my greenhouse. So far it has worked perfectly and should save us some money when needing the heater. I would definitely recommend this product.

Works well, memory when disconnected from power
It remember the settings even when you unplug it and automatically resumes when plugged back in which is nice, but unfortunately it only can do one function at a time so I am using it plugged into a separate timer plug to control a heat lamp only during a set time everyday. Nice long cord on the thermocouple. Bright display

excellent to keep room temperature constant
I brought this so we could keep a bedroom temperature constant for a bed ridden elderly patient. The problem with a space heater is that the on and off temperature range of the built in thermostat is too broad. So the room is either too cold or too hot. Also the thermostat is on the heater, so it is measuring the temperature near the heater (which is at ground level) - not of the room in general. With this thermostat I was able to set the on and off temperature very close, and was able to place the sensor at bed height. This gives an accurate reading of what the patient is experiencing - remember heat rises so if the sensor is at floor level it is measuring a cooler area of the room, or if it is higher it is measuring a hotter part of the room. Also keep the sensor away from windows as it is cooler there and away from lamps as they give of heat and also affect the reading. I set the on temperature at 73.1 and off temperature at 74.3. This kept the room at a perfect temperature for the patient with no wide swings. The only down side is that it is hard to change the settings on the fly. So we put a second space heater in the room, so on the odd occasion the patient was cold, we could just turn on the second heater for a while to boost the room temperature. This was not often required but more convenient than trying to adjust the settings on the device

Didn't work straight out of the box
Opened the box, plugged it in and got an E-01 error. I did the troubleshooting and nothing worked. Then, I looked at the picture and realized it was missing the metal bit on the end of the wire. I imagine that was the actual temperature-reading device. Returned it for a refund. Will try again, but will probably buy from a brick and mortar so I can make sure it works first.

Awesome!
Works perfect for the 1500watt heater that’s heating my ducks pond during the winter. I have it plugged in under an overhang. Not sure how well it would work getting rained on.
