Works great, heats up fast, but hard to clean, better buy a scraper also

That's not what I expected. Excellent pan, especially in combination with a Kuhn Rikon Smart Lid; really keeps splatter down, more so than using a screen. I bought a piece of corrugated plastic sheet, which I cut into easily-handled sections, to stand behind the cooktop to keep splatter off the backsplash; a swipe with a sponge takes care of escaping grease droplets, and keeps the grout looking good.This pan will turn you into an indoor griller.

This pan puts in serious work, like it's working a 9 to 5. It gives a good sear to steak, I use it to make burgers too. The ridges are deep, so it leaves deep grill marks. The pan distributes heat well, so even though it's small it cooks things quickly and efficiently. I made batches of burgers for a party relatively fast. I could fit 3 burgers at a time. I soak the pan for like 10 minutes then easily clean it out. This pan is worth every penny. I'm planning on buying a second because I have dinner party's alot. Simply get the pan hot, put a generous amount of fat and watch it work wonders. If anyone complains about this pan, it is user error for sure. I cook often and I can tell you, this pan is everything.

The "buy with" recommended scraper did not fit the groove sizes at all, though, waste of money.

There are times you just need to really grill something at home, and that electric double sided fold over “grill” just isn’t going to make the magic happen, and the idea of “grilling” in an air fryer is, well, quaint. Cast iron is the way to go, and on my convection grill top, this heats up to magic levels. Technically about the same temperature as those electric appliances I mentioned, but iron on convection delivers those oh so hot ridges that just can’t be matched. And the results - steaks, burgers, chicken, veggies that put those appliances to shame, and are only beat by going out to dinner instead.I like grill marks, I like well cooked food, I like a good investment in super easy to clean cookware - this is what I like.

I have used enameled cast iron, only the high end stuff, for twenty years. You just can't beat it. This grill is exactly the size of my glass top range burner. There are no hot or cool spots. It's all the same temperature. I chose this one because I cook for one two people. It will last a lifetime. While the pots wash out very easily, this grill will have bits stuck to it. I let it cool down all the way, put a quarter inch of hot water in it, and let it sit a long time. Food just slides right off. Read the manual. I also bought the 9 inch Cuisinart SS dome and it works perfectly on this grill for certain foods.

This is a great griddle pan leaving dark grid lines in a remarkably short time. It heats up very quickly and maintains a fairly even and hot surface temperature even near the edges. It works well on induction cookers. Any complaints? ... it is a bit more difficult to clean than a flat-bottomed pan but if you let it soak with a bit of dishwashing liquid, it is actually relatively easy.

Looks great - you envision - that will be cool and fun - just like a paddle boat - but it’s not - takes much more time, multiple attempts and with great effort to clean than it does to use

Excellent quality, grills meats and vegetables beautifully, love the cherry color, this will be a nice addition to my collection of Staub cookware, they last a lifetime. Shipping was very fast!
