cool bottle and cool effects. best on rice paper, but i like the look on wc paper also. two tone separation cool. not for fountain pens. but using a dip pen is fun.

This is a beautiful ink. A rich black on regular paper, and it has a beautiful sheen on tomoe river or rice paper. Very reasonable price for the size too.

I’ve used better inks and the metallic hype is over rated
I am an ink artist and work with hundreds of inks. This ink is thinner than most and all the hype about metallic is over-rated. I can’t even see it much

Silver ink
This ink is pretty good, it does indeed comes out silver, though I have to admit it's not as strong as the gold version of this. You have to use a darker coloured paper, or at least an off white paper for the silver to really show. But on white rice paper, it's still silver just not as intense as the gold. Still good ink though, would recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to buy expensive silver Chinese calligraphy ink.
