Beautiful
Just a gorgeous deck! Cardstock is amazing! This isn't a typical tarot and follows it's own system.

Gracias.

Love
Absolutely LOVE this amazing little deck!First, sturdy, but not too bulky, thick box. Holds cards and guidebook perfectly without a bunch of extra space.Cards are a beautiful matte (same feel as Starchild Tarot, Moonchild Tarot, Dark Mansion Tarot, Threads of Fate Oracle) and about poker card size. Shuffles beautifully. I own the original deck and it's a bit too big for my hands to shuffle easily. It is also a bit glossy, this version is a soft, almost velvety feeling matte. Shuffles like a DREAM!!!No gold gilding on edges to flake off, like the original deck. Plain white card edges. Personally, I hate gilding. I love the look of gilded edges, but they always look bad after using them for a while so I prefer to edge my decks myself.Guide book is nice quality, good info on each card, but not nearly as much as the original book. It's more like an Oracle decks guidebook. You almost need to have the original set and book to fully get to know this deck inside and out. This little book is great for the little deck, but if you are a newbie to tarot I would not recommend this deck at all. It is a bit confusing to those who aren't familiar with tarot. If you aren't familiar with this deck, the card names for the majors have been changed so it does not follow too much of the original tarot systems. It also uses the symbols for the elements as the card name. So instead of two of cups, it shows a Roman numeral 2 with the upside down triangle WATER symbol. It does not say "two of cups", "II of cups" or "two of water" The court card names have been changed as well. Very simple symbol and Roman numeral so it does not take away from the art.Which leads me to the absolutely stunning art work. Colorful, vibrant images on each card. Gives off a very pagan feel with a bright colorful spin. Kind of a light, love, beauty deck. Almost like the Good Tarot, it is a very "bright" deck with more than usual positive meanings.I can't say enough good about this deck to do it justice. I highly recommend it to anyone who knows tarot fairly well, and loves the art work. The meanings behind the cards are beautiful as well. I prefer to use the actual large guide book from the original deck to go with this smaller deck though.Again, I would not recommend this deck at all to anyone new to tarot...I feel it may just confuse you.
