This mount works great , I'm happy with it. But you need to adjust the nut on top of the lock down leaver to fit on your rail and you need to depress the spring loaded leaver on the leaver in order to move it. That's what keeps it locked . Then it works great 👍.

This looks solid and mounts just fine, but the latch fails to lock - even when unmounted. If you're buying this as a toy for airsoft, you'd probably be fine. Shoot 7.62x39 through it however, and I'll all but certain it'd fly off. I am returning it and Amazon is sending me a replacement. I'm cautiously optimistic that the replacement will latch and lock, but I'll hold final judgment until its arrival and will update this review when it does arrive.That said, this *looks* no different in the photos than any of the other Chinese ones on Amazon, which led me to this specific one as it had a lower price than the others. If the second one is a failure as well, I may just end up buying the Midwest Industries mount instead. Hopefully not - fingers crossed!UPDATE: the replacement arrived. It mounts and latches as the other one, but takes some effort to get it to lock closed. Once locked, it feels extremely secure and I doubt it would have any issues with live-fire. I'll update the review again once I get a chance to actually hit the range. Updated from 1 star to 3, cautiously optimistic.

Good price for product, but you need to be mindful of how much you tighten this to your rifle, it has a tendency to fall off after a few rounds if you don’t tighten the nut on the bottom screw. Round the nut off, it’s better than it falling off and breaking your sight.

It didn't even take 15 rounds of 7.62 for the lever start opening (yes, i know i can adjust the nut to have tighter fit, but the lock lever doesn't work)I had to take the lever off and adapt a 1/4 bolt and nut (had to grind one side of the nut to fit in the place of the old one).It works great now and i still can disasemble the AK.Update: 600rds thru and still holds zero after adapting.PSAK47 GF3

Great sturdy scope mount

looks nice but doesnt fit. I bought this for an airsoft AK74 and it slid on but is very lose and wobbly and basically useless
