Holds up to heavy sparks from grinders!
Most durable laces that can still be tied well enough that I have ever seen!Lasted over two years of heavy sparks and even occasional molten metal from use as a steel pipe fitter/fabricator. Normal cheap laces last a month or two, "durable" laces and the original laces that come with the name brand timberland boots last 3-5 months, these lasted over two years and more than paid in the difference in cost. Still they failed in the same way, dry rot and failure in the underside which never got cleaned but zero damage from sparks so they far outlasted everything. To give an idea of the abuse, my $190 timberland boots only last 12-16 months and my full leather apron to block the sparks at my stomach only lasts a year so these things can clearly take abuse. Worth the money for me most definitely. The main con is the cost, really unless your dealing with sparks or mud these arent worth your money in my opinion, but some people really need laces that can handle sparks and weld slpatter and these work for that surprizingly well. The only real con beyond the cost is the stiffness, they are more difficult to tie but I learned an effective way to tie it with little risk of untieing and easy untieing later. Single underloop to start basically the way most teach to tie shoes, then single bunny ear and pull the otherside all the way through (dont make two ears at the same time, just one), then bunny ear the other side as a double tie and get it very tight. The first bunny ear tightens to the shoe and the second ear tightens to the first ear. This way never has come untied unless the string was left too long and got stepped on, actually these get tighter than conventional laces only doing this way specifically but releasing isnt an issue since pulling the correct string will pull out one loop then pull the other and its untied. The laces do require a very tight tie to not come untied, but doing the separate single bunny ears as described allows for a very tight tie without the shoe itself being too tight. Dunno why but tieing the bunny ears together for a double tie does not stay tied since they are too stiff, and only doing the bunny ears for a single tie as normally taught for tennis shoes doesnt stay either. And this style isnt as effective with normal laces as with these laces either, im on my feet for 10-12 hours a day in these climbing over stuff and climbing inside of pipe and never came untied unless the release string was pulled. Yet my thin laces on my tennis shoes never stayed tied with this tieing style. If you need laces that can handle sparks and can figure out a tie for them since they are thicker these are very highly recommended!

Heavy Duty!
I work for a utility provider that requires gaffing boots, and I go through a lot of laces with the amount of wear I put on my boots. My latest pair came with laces that were torn and unraveling after just a few weeks and needed an upgrade. I usually buy the typical lace brand that is available at every big box store, but I thought I might try something better. These laces are amazing! Firm and high friction, they hold lace hooks and knots well, don't loosen or untie under heavy use, and have not shown any signs of wear yet. So far, I am very happy with these laces and will use them again.Probably not for tennis shoes/trainers or dress shoes, but for work boots, these are the one!

It’s pretty good! 3 year review.
So I’ve had these exact ones since July 31 2021, I have some pictures of how they look vs the new ones, and I have to say they are pretty durable. I had the one finally break after all this time. And I ordered two more lol. I’m pretty hard and rough on my boots ( landscaping and a rv technician, so all the outdoor weather along with sparks and chemicals) from my work and these things went through three pairs of boots before they broke. I’m pretty happy with that because I used to go through 1 every single month before these. You can notice in the picture that the color doesn’t hold up but if you don’t care like myself and just want some boot laces, that will take a while before breaking these ones are definitely for you.

They're as durable as advertised, however, the discoloration is unappealing
Overall, I'm quite happy with these laces. They hold up well, aren't stretchy like cheap laces, and they do quite well. Every day my kittens attack them while I'm putting my boots on, and no matter how many times the little jerks try to destroy them, they hold up.My only real complaint is the wax they're dipped in discolors from friction, so my black laces are now more of a mostly white looking lace. While the wax no doubt improves strength and durability by reducing friction, the wax that's used should be the same color as the laces. It's clear they use the same white wax with all of their laces, hence the discoloration. If the black laces were infused with black wax, brown laces with brown wax, etc., the product would be perfect.Still, even with this slight imperfection, they are without a doubt the best boot laces I've ever used.

Awesome boot laces
These are by far the best boot laces I've ever used. They cost a bit more, but worth it. Very durable, tough and long lasting. I put them on all my work boots.

The laces are well made.
I bought the 33" laces for shoes that were sold with leather laces. Those laces lasted a long time. When they need replacement, I bought leather ones from Amazon. They lasted for about 10 days. I tried replacing leather laces in a second pare of shoes (using the same replacement) and they failed in about a month. These non-leather laces are small in comparison to the leather ones, but I believe they will last much longer. They look nice, but I wish they had a larger diameter.

Súper resistente
Se le ha dado un uso rudo, antes de esta ya había roto 3 agujetas para botas. Ya pasaron varios meses de uso y estas siguen perfectas.

last forever
these laces outlast my boots. I am a Red Seal Millwright and I do a lot of welding, oxyacetylene cutting and plasma cutting.
