Versatile and decorative
I like this item - I acquired an exterior light from ironically an independently owned amazon pallet retail store which is brass an mounts via 1/2 inch NPTThis item presents a nice textured surface bronze color and easy knockout holes for 4 screw mounting at a reasonable price..!

Great one-hole cover
I'm using this as part of a ceiling-mount light fixture, and I needed only one hole for conduit to hang down from. There are only two holes for cover screws, but there are two more places to easily knock out small holes for two other screws. If I can get paint to stick, this is going to look great!

Good for uplights
I don't know why, but they have a metal post inside preventing you from screwing the back nut down onto the light which would allow the screws to be anywhere you want and turn the light to the right position. After reading instructions, I learned that I had been doing it wrong. Locking nut goes outside the box and not inside. Well, there you go!
