Incredible value AND taste!
I was worried about buying these as it was a big commitment to buy 100 capsules without trying them but the cost saving was too good to resist. The good news is it was totally worth it, I am a bit of a snob with Nespresso Coffee capsules and usually go for the Nespresso originals or the newer Starbucks ones as its worth paying the extra for the taste. I have tried supermarket own brand ones and they are ok but never quite as good. These ones are worth the leap of faith, whether you are a espresso or latte lover these taste good in both. I have one every morning in the car on my commute and the value is so good I won't go back to the more expensive brands.

Amazing value
This and its stable mates (ristretto / espresso) have been on offer at around -50% off quite a few times recently and at that price it is an absolute steal - in fact I spent 300 quid on them last time! For me the best circa. £15 for 100 pods on the market. Better imo than L'Or which I think are really nasty and weak and are VERY expensive. The only ones I find better than the amazon ones are the Carte Noire pods which are delicious but a bit more wonga. Of course if you can afford the original N'espresso pods lucky you, but the amount of coffee we drink in our house, we'd be bankrupt by xmas!Of course my opinion counts for nowt, cos we all have our own taste buds ya!

Not bad for the price (Amended)
If you think the Nepresso pods are top flight, these in comparison are not.Having said that Nespresso pods cost in excess of 30p each whereas these cost only 8p per pod. The taste is also reflected in the price. These pods you could consider to be the house wine in a restaurant, ok and drinkable.I did also notice that my Nespresso Citiz had difficulty delivering the coffee no faster than a weak dribble and there was little of no coffee crema. The coffee delivery can be speeded up by piercing both the front and back of the pods, but you shouldn't really have to do this. Conclusion: OK coffee, but would benefit from improved capsule design and of course improvement in taste. The above review may have been a bit unfair, I descaled my coffee machine have this weekend and am now experiencing different results. The water flow rate through capsules has improved as so has the crema and unexpectedly the taste.I have rerated my score to 5 stars, not that this product is as good as the Nespresso originals, but because of the value for money aspect it represents. The coffee taste in a skinny latte is pleasant and certainly head and shoulders above the instant stuff. For an everyday coffee it is good and at 8p a pod is extremely good value

Coffee pod granulars predict winning lotto numbers.
Only joking. I just like strong coffee. I m also post 60 and a grumpy old man. So if this is strong enough for me we can not be far off a five stars. PS I m not a coffee nerd or the like. Just like coffee strong. As a guide I have two spoons of instant in my coffee.

Would not recommend
I'm sorry but I cant leave positive feedback. I read the feedbacks before I bought and decided to try. Cant say good value for money as it was...not nice....also plastic pods ( look at the state after comparing to nespresso).Additionally each time water is coming out of machine while using these pods....disappointed...don't buy please

Budget price, budget flavour
Pros:- Half the price of Nespresso pods.- That's about it.Cons:- Very thin flavour. I usually drink black Nespresso Dharkan or Arpeggio, both wonderfully rich with lovely thick crema. In contrast, Amazon coffee is thin, watery, with a crema that leaves a dirty residue on the side of the cup. I shudder to think what the lower-strength Amazon pods taste like.- Loads of residue also deposited inside the machine, which means you have to clean it more and it will also make your coffee taste even worse.- Pods tend to get stuck in the slot, as they are slightly bigger than Nespresso pods.- Not recyclable as far as I can tell. Nespresso include free recyling bags with their pods.In summary: I'd rather spend the extra money and buy official Nespresso pods.

New Design - Leaky Capsules
I've been buying these for a long time without a problem but the latest batch (June 2020) were a disaster. The capsules are a slightly different design and now leak like mad. You end up with the drip tray overflowing after each use because they don't form a proper seal in the machine. I used some of the previous Solimo capsules and they were fine.On examination I noticed that the new version, pictured on the left, have a slightly narrower rim and lack the, wider flattened sealing ring incorporated in the old Solimo capsules, pictured right. This is what seals them when 'clamped' in the machine and without it they leak - that's the fault without any shadow of doubt. Amazon need to take this up with their new manufacturer.Shame, because the coffee still tastes great.

Super
Stocking up on this whilst it's on offer. I prefer a darker roast and this is just my cup, more so than the lungo, which is nice as well.A very decent amount of coffee coming out of the pod and a lovely thick crema. Of all the budget brands of which I've now tried many, this is my fav.Edit: price has been creeping up. typical amazon marketing. -1
