I have been using a small line of BWC products for a couple months now and feel like I can give them a real good review now. I chose this face wash because I am a newly converted cruelty-free product user with oily skin. I'm not really sure what A.H.A. 3% means for me but they recommended it for my skin type, so I went with it. The smell is very soft, and definitely not that overpowering essential oil smell you'd imagine (or at least I did). While I don't really have acne problems anymore, I do get the occasional pimple and could definitely say I believe this product has kept my breakouts at bay and when it hasn't, it has shortened the length of them. I've used this face wash daily before my BWC toner and then BWC face lotion with SPF and truly feel like I hit the jackpot. My skin has become so healthy looking and almost like a "glow" due to even skin tones, less redness, and overall complexion is just so wonderful. I wasn't sure if I would continue repurchasing these products since they're more expensive than drugstore options I usually go for, but I truly feel like it's worth it. BWC is my new go-to brand that can do no wrong

Both my husband and I use and love this cleanser. It is gentle yet takes away most of my makeup in one washing. The reason I say *most* is that I follow up with Kiss My Face bar soap (Aloe Vera) to remove any last bits of makeup. I've found that no matter what facial cleanser I use, I have to go over my face twice...not that I wear that much makeup (just moisturizer with powder over it), but none of the cleansers I've tried have taken every bit off in the first go-round. I always have found more on the washcloth when I clean my face the 2nd time. That said, this cleanser is wonderful...I have been using it for over a year now and would not go back to any other. It is paraben free - and makes my skin feel great....not overly dry like others. I would recommend it.

I have very sensitive skin on my face and get rashes from the vast majority of facial cleansers, moisturizers, and makeup. This product has never caused me that problem, and in addition, it works extremely well. I have a mix of oily skin and dry skin, and this controls the oil without drying the rest of my face out too much. I've been using it for decades now and hope they continue to make it as-is, since I would have a very hard time replacing it if I ever needed to. On a side note, this pump bottle is the only one I've ever seen where you can actually finish the whole bottle through the pump. With every other product, I have to leave the bottle upside down, take the top off, and work to get the last dregs out, but this one just pumps until it's completely empty. It's really nice when something works that well!

I've been having minor skin problems for the last year or so- mainly little breakouts on my forehead. I was lucky enough not to have had skin problems during my teen years/early 20s, so I was surprised when this happened at the age of 24. This face wash has cleared up my skin within a week! I had been using random face wash samples from other companies. I'm so glad I made the switch to this cleanser. My reason for four stars instead of five is that this cleanser is really, really thin. It slides off my hands every single time I use it. I hope that BWC will add some type of natural thickening agent to this in the future. This product is great for normal to oily skin. Again, the breakouts this cleared up for me were minor. I'm not sure how well this would work for anyone with more serious skin problems. I highly recommend this effective, cruelty free product.

Great product. There's a mild scent that doesn't linger. The scent doesn't bother my son who won't use anything with a perfume smell. I will say a little goes a long way. I use less than a full pump to wash my face, neck and chest in the shower. Plus this is cruelty free! I've tried a lot of cruelty free face washes and this one is my favorite. I have combo skin and this does not over dry or leave me feeling greasy. My skin actually feels silky smooth. I definately recommend this product.

I love this brand and cleanser. It is cruelty free, works well and is gentle on my sensitive skin.

I've been buying this for years. It's wonderful! It cleans your face really thoroughly has the highest concentration of AHA Complex (3%) without a prescription. Dermatologists maintain that AHA keeps your skin fresh and young looking. Yet this product never leaves the slightest residue on your face. My daughter, and even my son, love it. I don't like the feeling of residue left on my face after I wash it. I apply sunscreen and makeup after I wash my face. It's also very inexpensive, does not contain harmful ingredients, and is kind to animals. Love it, love it, love it!

I decided to buy this product via Amazon as it was a cheaper than the online store via BWC. You get what you pay for ...right? The product is really watered down. So when I pump it on my hand it literally slips away through my fingers. So when I do get it on my face and it is supposed to give a light lather...it does not....and it removes the foundation and dirt off my face, but I find my mascara (that normally comes off with BWC product) is still smudged under my eyes. So I have to pump more product to just try it all over again. I think I got duped here. But lesson learned. Keep buying this directly with the site you have always trusted.
