Good bit of kit. The diffuse light means it's good for close up work where you want to avoid shadows etc. It's also good for walking in a group where only one person has the torch because the light doesn't just go wherever the wearer is looking.Battery life is a bit of an issue because you can't just chuck a couple of spare AAs in it when it runs out, but this is a problem common to all devices where the only charging option is to plug it in.Another slight issue is that the directional light on the side feels a bit odd because of the light coming in at an angle to your line of sight. I don't find it much of a problem though because i never use that element.Very comfy to wear - I was a bit worried that I'd get sweaty under the rubberized bit but this hasn't been a problem so far.Overall, very happy with this at the price and would probably buy again.

Once you have got used to the various different settings, it is quite a good bit of kit.So comfortable in fact,you can as I have now done on many occasions, walked outside looking like Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits and blinding people.Only slight criticism, is the battery life could do with being a little longer.Use them for detail work, general low light situations and walks in the dark.

Very bright, comfortable to wear

Apart from looking like you’re out of some 70s or 80s pop video….this headlight is actually very good. The ‘strip light’ gives a nice even wide-angle amount of bright light which means you don’t have to worry how to place it on your head to illuminate your subject or workspace. It has the effect of turning on a room light it’s that good. The little albeit bright targeted light is an added bonus. Perhaps its best (tho’ sometimes annoying) feature is the gesture control for switching the light on or off. It’s far better than the normally fiddly action of switching headlights on or off since many have the annoying 3 way switch modes (very bright, less bright & flashing). The battery stays charged for a good length of time and whether in use or switched off. I suspect it might be a great light to use for jogging folk.

Cant fault them. Next gen head lights. Very bright, light up a room. Spot light excellent to. Type C recharge fast. Motion sensor on/off option. Ideal.

It's great product!

I brought this headtorch in November and the battery life was great and it was super bright. Now, most of the LED's have gone and its more a humble brightness rather than the blinding light it used to be. As my first headtorch it was amazing but now i need to find something that lasts a bit longer than a few months.
