The complete functionality of conventional laboratories-dosing, filling, mixing, splitting, dispensing, analyzing, and more-can now be integrated on a small micro-structured disposable (lab-on-chip) made of plastic. Miniaturization is optimal for automated standard processes and affords time and cost efficiency and a high assay throughput. At the same time, it allows you to decentralize the analytical and diagnostic processes to point of care. Use the microplate assembly platform for convenient, simple handling of up to four microfluidic chips. The connectors let you easily daisy-chain chips to mix and match to your specific application. The lever (included in chip connector set 75956-91) quickly disconnects the chip connectors, allowing you to reconfigure for your next application. The micro connectors provide an easy way of moving fluid from a syringe pump, luer syringe, pipettor, or pipette to the chip. Use the micro plugs to block selected fluid ports. Platform is made of PC. Micro connectors and plugs are made from Topas® COC, a cyclic olefin copolymer. SKUs used for the platform and connectors are 75956-90, -91, -95, -96, 97, 98, and are listed below. Choose from a variety of chips (slides) to use with the pump kits. Most are offered in Topas COC, which combines excellent optical properties with biocompatibility and good chemical resistance to most acids and bases. The snake mixer chip is also offered in Zeonex® COP, a cyclo-olefin polymer with very low water absorbency, and excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability.
