Longing for Love (Gansett Island Series Book 7)

Since my reading addiction started and I continually discovered new authors and their books, I have found my favorites that I wait anxiously to be released and The McCarthy's of Gansett Island series is one of them. So I have to admit that I did a little happy dance when Longing For Love was finally released!! LOL :)I continue to be drawn into each of these books through the lovable characters and the wonderful little island they reside. I've never wanted to live in a fictional place or surround myself with fictional characters more than with The McCarthy's of Gansett Island. The way that Marie Force writes this series and how she brings each of the stories to life gets me every time.I LOVE LOVE LOVE every single little thing about Longing For Love!!! It was simply PERFECT!! I think that it is definitely my favorite of the series so far!! I love Blaine and Tiffany and I love how Marie Force wrote their relationship with such a mixture of love and laughter. I was sucked in immediately and I never wanted to leave!! Blaine *sigh*I was so happy to revisit with all of my favorite characters and some new ones as well. Joe and Janey, Mac and Maddie, Evan and Grace, Grant and Stephanie, Owen and Laura, and of course Big Mac and Linda. I cannot wait to read about them all again in Adam's book. I am also anxiously waiting for more of Kara and Dan, Daisy and David and Jenny. I am so interested in where Marie is going with these characters.I never wanted Longing For Love to end and I found myself trying to read slower to prolong the story. I wasn't ready to leave Gansett Island!! Just an awesome book filled with romance, love, laughter, tears, conflict, a little angst, HOT SEX, more laughter and more tears~everything that I have come to expect and love from Marie Force and this series. So good that I had to reread right after I was finished!! LOL :)Thank you, Marie, for continuing on with this series and allowing me to escape into this wonderful world that you have created. I look forward to each and every book with anticipation of what will happen next.BEST OF THE BEST rating.

Marie Force has done it once again. She makes me wish that there really was an Island I could go to, with real people I'd love to live next door too. While some have criticized this book as being little bit more racier then then others, I'd have to agree. It was, but I wasn't shocked by it at all. In fact; I even expected it by the way these two have been denying their mutual attraction to one another for at least a year now. The fact that she owns the Naughty & Nice shop that was filled with lots of sexual toys close at hand, why not get more first hand knowledge about how they work. Besides...Blaine is the strong silent type, and we all know how dangerous those guys can be, right? Lol! Tiffany didn't stand a chance against someone like him.I also love the way the characters from former books are always intertwined seamlessly, so you're always kept updated on their lives, which I think is brilliant way of writing a series book. I love it when you get updates in sequels, too. So often books that are written in series, are written as stand alone's. But....they are lumped into a series, only because they are in the same town. That is so NOT the case with the McCarthy series. The McCarthy family and their close friends are all a very tight knit family, with lots of interaction between them all..I was so happy to catch back up with all my old favorites, while being introduced to many new faces & situations. I see the next book up is about Adam. I can't wait to see what happens to bring him back there from New York City. It ought to be very interesting, for sure.Would I recommend this book? You better bet I would, in fact; I'd recommend this whole series. Trust me...You won't be disappointed!

I had been sayin that Tiffany needed a good "Schtuping" since book one of the series, and she was still married then, but I didn't think she was going to be married for long.If you are a reader of the Gansett Series, you know that in the last book, Tiffany and Blaine shared a wildly sexy encounter on her kitchen counter that set us up for what was to come when these two FINALLY got together, and boy, oh boy, Marie NEVER disappoints!!"Is there something in particular I can show you?" He comes to find that she is someone who can stand on her own two feet and someone that he wants to stand next to, and she comes to find him to be more than just a pretty face and a oh so sexy body, (and a kinky mind), but a man that she wouldn't mind having in her life when things get tough, and he is even wild about her daughter...I know...SWOON!!Like all the other Gansett Island romances, we also get to see what some of our other Gansett couples have been up to, and a few new romances have blossomed in LONGING. Kara and Dan finally take the next step in their relationship (I LOVE these two), and Semus makes an announcement that not only shakes up the island but Carolines whole world. There is much romance and a bit of kink coming to Gansett in LONGING FOR LOVE, so I say, if you are not on the Island...Get started today!!

Terrific read!

The story of Blaine and Tiffany was fairly interesting and entertaining, however all the subplots of the other characters in the story, from earlier books in the series was very distracting. I have read mant books that were parts of a series, but none where the central characters are almost sidelined by the others. Too much of catching up with the others happening in this book. Especially since I had not read any of the other books in the series. So, half the time, I didnt know who was who. I mean this book is filled with siblings, parents, etc. and it was very hard to keep track of who was related to whom. Don't think I will be trying out any of the other books in this series.

Dieses englische Buch habe ich mir gekauft weil ich nicht so lange auf die nächste deutsche Fortsetzung der Gansett Serie warten wollte.Und ich habe es nicht bereut,es war gut verständlich zu lesen und die Story um Tiffany und Blaine war sehr sexy und spannend.Habe mir gerade Teil Nr.8 gekauft und bin sehr gespannt wie es weitergeht mit Adam McCarthy und Abby.

I am a huge fan of this series anyone who reads Nora Roberts and loves her series GET THIS its fab seven books so far Book 1 is free to download at the moment Maid for Love and its my favourite followed by Fool for Love,Ready for Love, Falling for Love, Hoping for Love, Season for Love and this book Longing for Love also one of my top three for the series, this had a little more spice in the bedroom loving that! and I adored the two leads both Blaine and Tiffany were great and theres loads of little romance's along the way and some new characters popping up for more books later on a great series that is fun romantic and a little bit special.Tiffany Sturgil has taken the plunge and decided to open Naughty & Nice a underwear stroke sex toy shop in Gansett, she hopes the town will love it and being the annual spring Race Week she hopes buisness will be booming recently divorced from her arse hat husband Jim she is ready for a new start for her and her daughter even if said arse hat has moved to the town to open up his own office , Tiffany had a kitchen sexy counter encounter with sexy Police Chief Blaine Taylor in the last book but he backed off till she was divorced but he still thinks of her 24\7 and Tiffany can't stop remebering that night either, but with her daughter her ex and the opening of her shop plus her unconventional but laugh out loud funny advertising campaign to bring in customers has put Gansett island's lingerie queen and the town sheriff (Blaine) at loggerheads. Despite their clashes, and the car crash Tiff causes when she paints the sign outside her shop while wearing underwear the two finally get it together after months of waiting for both of them and my giddy aunt do they get it together!Blaine has been hurt in the past by women who have cheated on him stole from him and used him but he likes Tiffany and wants them to give it a go he sees she is hiding a broken heart from the way her dad left and her ex treated her even though the mayor wants him to stop her advertising her merchendise and his mum worries that Blaine has taken on another project that will leave him with a broken heart again and maybe out of a job, Blaine still wants Tiffany.Also Joe and Janey are back in Gansett for the summer and for Joe to find out his mum has been keeping a big Irish secret from him and theirs Evan learning Grace still hasn't told her parents about him, along with Stephanie's restaurant opening and the renovated Sand & Surf Hotel so Hope and Owen are here too, plus Dan the lawyer keeps showing up to see Kara, and Mac and Maddie are at loggerheads as Maddie has agreed to see her dad so he will give her mum her divorce this book is very full plus theres a accident towards the end that shows evryone whats important.whew this was a good edition to the series and its a great series download book one its free and I am sure book 2 to 7 will be following love them all and I cant wait for book 8
